Nope. No blanket. Breasts are OVERLY sexualized in our society, but for some reason it's a big deal for me to feed my kid. It just seems so close minded, and I prefer not to perpetuate the belief that it's something to be hidden. :/ It's the most natural thing in the world, and I don't wanna hide it. People these days just like to find something to complain about, and unfortunately it's an easy target. (lol, but I won't go on about it. Sometimes my feathers get ruffled just speaking about it.) Plus, Lilah is on oxygen, and I have a complex about covering her head up. Also, I'm an F cup, so I need to have access or else I'll smother her.eek
And no, lol. Skotti and I learned a looong time ago how to separate the sexual function they have and the biological function.

I know, I know. It sucks, but I once made an impression enough on a new nursing mother to boost her confidence, and that was worth more than any disdainful stare. smile
Yeah, Lilah's been on oxygen since late June when she was about 2 weeks old. sad She was diagnosed with a type of apnea common among 36 weekers here in CO where the altitude is high and the oxygen concentration on the lower side. We're pretty sure she doesn't need it anymore, but she's yet to have her room air trial since her last one in July.
lol, and I understand. My life is terribly devoid of female interaction. Well, at least one over two years old. xd

I completely forgot to ask earlier, but what's the story between Waffle and Sabe right now?
Short answer: Long story!
Long answer: Shortly after Sabe was beaten to mashed potatoes, Luciano and Waffle crossed paths. She noticed the blood on his hands and went completely nuts over it. Sabe is put into emergency care for quite a while, and the entire time Waffle antagonizes Luc over it. They have a temporary truce when driving to pick up him up, but she and Luc end up brawling outside of a hospital because she threatened to burn down Brozen Manor if Luc didn't agree to keeping Sabe in his room for few weeks. After long enough, stabilized Sabe just waddles out there himself, gets angry at Waffle for being a little bitchlet and pimpslaps her for the first time. She totally flips her lid over it and holes herself up, but not before messing with him one last time. Ever since then, they stayed away from each other.
Fast forward to the vampires breaching HQ, and Sabe got blood all over his PJs. He has to go to his room to get another change of clothes, and he might as well shower. But he just broke Waffle's rule by coming back into their room, so she thinks she's entitled to mess with Sabe as she pleases.

Yeah, it covers at least 24 pages. Pages 525-527 are absolutely ridiculous lol.
A few more things I forgot (underlined=critical): 1. Sabe is completely oblivious to what Luciano did to him, and will remain that way unless someone confronts him about it or his memory gets dug through. 2. Waffle has some major cognitive dissonance about who's allowed to beat Sabe up. Her abuse of him is justified in her mind because she's 'entitled' to do whatever she wants since Sabe is her 'property' (eg. he is still her inferior because he inherited nothing by marrying; prior to marriage he was a servant), and other people who abuse him get no mercy because they would be basically ******** around with a monarch's property, which is a major crime! 3. Sabe was also completely unaware of the deal Waffle made with Luc, since he was in the hospital, and by extension had no clue of when it was 'safe' to come back to his own bed. He asked Luc if he could stay in his room only because Waffle gave him a big fat black eye when they got back to HQ for slapping her earlier.

We actually have thought about it, but that's more of a long term goal. Even moving to Denver would be an improvement. Denver is over 1,000ft closer to sea level than Colorado Springs. But right now we're taking it a step at a time. By this point, if the issue isn't resolved, we will be forced to look into a possible congenital heart defect. But I don't believe it will come to that. smile

Currently backed by RP: Out of necessity. Waffle and her parents have some major beef against Serole's nobles, and the hatred is mutual, so she was SOL as far as marriage candidates went.
Additional (but very spoilery) reason:
The Hudson family is a noble line, but Irwin was disowned which broke him and all his descendants from the 'official' noble lineage. Colbur, who doesn't give a ******** about the social games the nobles play, is fine with pairing Waffle with Sabe. Not only is it convenient because the two are around each other constantly, but it pisses off the nobility at the same time.
There is more spoilery backstory, but I'm not revealing that much else yet. I forget who I've told it to so far.

Don't worry though, there's more of it coming soon enough. But I am getting tired of how I'm writing Waffle (she's starting to irritate me, even) and also tired of writing constantly yanking Sabe's chain, so the next time is hopefully the last. The tables will be turned, and Waffle gets her just desserts.
