Lea laid against his warm chest still blushing.
Finally, another maid called Laura to go to the main hall. She walked into the banquet hall and looked around. Other then her, there were other girls in a corner gossiping and giggling. 'I'm much cuter.' Laura thought snootily. 'but I guess I'll have to hide in the...'
"Hello Miss. May I have this dance?" A 40 year old man with a big mustache asked. Laura almost said no on the spot, but noticed the old woman staring at her. Laura bit her tongue and gave a small nod. The man stepped on her foot several times and by the end of the dance, she was glad that he left her to flirt with some of the other girls. Laura looked around to see if she could find anyone from the mafia yet.

sereniy_eyes Iris chickled, but winced, "I understand sir, but I'm fine. I don't need to wait around in the recovery ward. All I need is a sling and I'll be fine..." she spoke plainly, but her body was aching and in a little bit of pain. She sighed and shook her head, "Anyways, romances between a police officer and a commissioner is prohibited I believe."  Once upon a time....
Jareth smiled at the strong young woman, "I know that," He sighed while looking over at Beans and Al. "You still need a lot of rest and take a few days off!" He ordered but in a nice playful manner. "yah need it..." He then looked over Beans to see if he was awake.

Giovanni lit up another cigar as the limo made its way the the mansion Laura was trapped in.

Irirs sighed, "Beans is comotose. We don't know when he'll wake up and his...fiance(sp?) is missing. we have a current serch for her, but no luck." she shook her head angerly, "Sir I know I need rest, but frankly I don't have time for it. With Rose and Anthony 'offduty' not to mention the attack on the police, we're going to need all the man power we can get. And if that means me walking around half functioning, then so be it." she looked at him with determined eyes.

London smiled while soothing the woman's hair while he held her against his bare chest. He did not lover her! Yet his respect for women was more than any man could ever know. He was willing to be used by women for any reason.

"Do you like me?" Lea asked rubbing against his chest.
All of the girls to the side were giving Laura rude looks as she came back. She honestly couldn't give a d*** about any of them. Before she had a chance to sit down, a blond 20 year old man with a bright expression tapped her on the shoulder.
"You look lovely." He smiled.
"Um... Thanks?" Laura replied. She still wasn't used to complements.
"Dance please?" He asked.
"Sure..." She muttered, a little irritated. 'Well, at least he's cuter. Let's hope he doesn't step on my foot.' She thought. He led her to the center of the dance floor and started to dance a complicated and fancy dance. Laura was thankful for her good balance and sword skills that she didn't fall over halfway through and was able to follow him.

Jareth flipped his cellphone open while making a phone call. He knew that London owed him a favor from a month ago so he called him, "Iris...I want you to rest...I'm going to call in Anthony and Rose...and someone I know..." He did not want to add anymore information on the subject. He didn't even look at her when he spoke for he knew that she was bright and would put two and two together to make London or as everyone knows him as "The Charmer"

Iris held up a finger, "I'll take some house rest but that all..." she spun on her heals and gave a look at Beans before she almost left, "I'll get a cab." she told Jareth before going out the medical ward.

Giovanni's limo pulled into the mansion driveway and he got out at the front steps, followed by his men. He went up to the doors.
