She tilted her head up at smiled at Hauk when he hugged her.

"Hey there, stranger... " She leaned up and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. "You ready for dinner?"

Returning the kiss he breaks away from the embrace. Yea, I think I need some actual food in me. I had a protein shake earlier and something feels weird about it. Ready when you are. He smiles softly at her and holds out his arm to escort her into the JD.

They went into the JD and was seated in the MW Ladies booth.

"Something's weird about it? Weird like how? confused "

She ordered a bottle of sake when the waiter came by with the menus and she looked at Hauk with concern.

"Is it a new shake you're trying out?"

Ordering a red wine for himself he looks over the menu and gives a slight shrug and shaking his head a little. No the brand is one I've used in the past. But it tasted bitter when one of Rev's imps brought it to me since I assume one of them made it. I'm sure it'll be fine if I actually eat something. Its been a long weekend. Taking a sip of water from the glasses the waiter left behind he took Kat's hand in his lightly and looked up from his menu. You have a good trip?

She curled her fingers over his and looked up from the menu.

"It was a good trip...rather a whirlwind one, but good. We got everything we went for and I made him make good on his promise to take me shoe shopping. twisted Oh, and we picked up Psy's birthday gift too...we decided to go in together on it...and I still need to take it out to the estate and give it to her too."

She snickered and propped one of her feet up on the seat of the booth.

"Here's the boots...I'm rather fond of them. Do you like them? "

The waiter arrived back with their drinks and she order a couple of the house specialty rolls.

Ordering the beef fried rice, almond cihcken and some egg rolls, the waiter took their menus and left them be while he placed the order. Looking under the table Hauk placed his free hand under her calf and admired how the boots looked. An image flashed into his mind that he had to quickly push into the back of his mind if he wanted to focus on what their purpose was here. We could always stop by Harskarinna's estate after this. I haven't had a chance to see her children yet. His hand slowly runs up her calf and gracefully tickles the back of Kat's knee. They are really nice....that Franco knows good taste....He didn't really know how else to go on with that sentence since it was a gift from another guy. It really shouldn't bother him but the conversation with Showcase kept trying to rear its ugly head.

She squirmed when he tickled her leg and grinned at him.

"Yes he does have good taste, which is amazing considering some of the outfits I've seen him in. lol But enough about him...what have you been up to lately? Anything new at the club?"

Rev did all the redecorating for Halloween. The Orc bouncers couldn't be more thrilled to have all the magic off them for a little while. Went ahead to the Octoberfest event down in that down where we had one of our dates over the weekend with the girls....He paused when the waiter came up with Kat's food and one of his main dishes with the egg rolls. When the waiter refilled their waters and his wine Hauk resumed when he walked away. Better to just jump in now before things got too off track. Anira and I ran into an acquaintance of yours in the beer garden. He stops to sip his wine and take a few bites of food.

"I'm glad you went ahead to the festival. 3nodding No sense missing out on fun just because I was off on business. smile "

She picked up her chopsticks and picked up a piece of the spicy tuna roll, dipping it in some soy sauce as she looked up at him.

"Oh? Who would that be? confused " She popped the sushi in her mouth and then sipped her sake.

We did have a great time. Liada got a lot of good stuff shopping wise and we brought home some good ale. Sipping his water, he tries to keep his face at calm as he could when he brought it up. Justin Showcase, he was over at the table next to ours and Anira thought he looked familiar. He joined us for a few drinks after the introductions.

She snickered and shook her head.

"Oh, I'm sure he was there enjoying the 'scenery' of the serving girls there. lol I think he bid on Anira on that dating auction, didn't he?"

That he certainly was. Makes me wonder what you saw in him. Having a few more bites of his food and the waiter brought the rest of his order and he sipped his wine. He certainly had flattering things to say about you. At least it ended without throwing some punches in

She arched an eyebrow at Hauk.

"Oh? I can just imagine what he had to say. rolleyes And as far as what I saw in him, does it really matter now? "

She poured herself some more sake and waited to see what direction this conversation was going to head.

Yea a bit of it was things you've already told me when you have told me about your past. That part wasn't what bothered me the most...well....for the majority of it. Putting his silverware down he takes one of her hands again and looks straight into her eyes, waiting to see her reaction. He asked me if you had dumped me yet since it was about that time that you got bored of me. I know I should have just brushed it off but lately we've been so busy that we have either had to delay or cancel plans or have none at all. And I know you enjoy being gazed at from other guys even though I know that you've been faithful in our relationship. I....I can't help but wonder if Showcase is partially right. Are you..? Is what we have....getting old?

She sat her chopsticks down and crossed her arms, staring at Hauk.

"So, let me get this straight....you're going off some smack talk that my EX said and you're wondering if I'm ready to dump you, is that right? stare "

She finished off her cup of sake and sat it down.

"And what the hell is this 'I know you enjoy being gazed on' bullshit? When in the HELL have I ever acted like that? Huh? Have you heard ANYTHING from your co-workers that I've done anything in the club that should make you wonder if I'm going to break up with you? And what about your little club of fangirls, Hauk? You can't tell me that you don't enjoy being fawned over by them. rolleyes "
