So, does anyone have a recommendation on how I could build a Sōhei? I know I need the Bukijutsu class, but what else?

Hi there! Welcome to the guild! :3 I don't have any 'recommendations', so to speak, but I'll be happy to lend some advice.
It's really up to you, on what class combo your character gets. What is it that you're looking for in your character? Do you want them to be really good at Bukijutsu? Or do you want them to have a secondary set of skills to compliment it?
I'm not sure what a Sohei is, but if you need the Bukijutsu class, maybe you might choose to specialize. If it's a bloodline, then the bloodline class is always optional, and highly popular with Bukijutsu users who have bloodlines, as a secondary class.
Is it an elemental bloodline? Then the Ninjutsu class might work well, especially with the Mystic Hero discipline!
Take a look at all the classes, and see what appeals to you the most. There are tons of unique combinations out there that you'll enjoy! ^ u ^

Sōhei's main synergy is with it's ability to increase the Chakra pool. As it increases said pools across it's stages. Taking A Nin or Gen Class would compliment it best. Fuuton or Suiton are the most commonly associated with Sōhei. I would not recommend double Buki or Buki Tai since they both tend to lean more toward a stamina focus making Chakra increase somewhat pointless.
This might sound crazy, but I've never had a ninja learn tai/bukijutsu, and I've never had a tamer or puppeteer. 0_o I think for my next character, I'll expand my horizons LOL

I've actually taken sneak peeks at that clan in the past, and from what I've seen technique-wise it's pretty darn good!
Especially for a Bukijutsu character, with the ethereal weapons and stuff. I don't think anyone has used it yet, so I say go for it. :3
