Kyle_Rayner Oh crap, Hal is confirmed for the OYL JLA. stressed No, see that's good news. It means that Brad Meltzer doesn't get his paws on you again. How soon we forget Identity Crisis.

I was reading through some old trades of JLA last night, back when Grant Morrison was writing em. Man those were good times.
Batman wore black on black. Hippolyta was Wonder Woman, Wally wore a costume of his own design, and not a ripoff of Barry's. Zauriel, Barda, and Orion were members. Superman was electric, Kyle was the Green Lantern, Aquaman had the Water Hand, and Huntress was an official member.
They (DC) took the Leaguers in new directions, and Grant Morrison still managed to write each character perfectly. It was, and still is, brilliant, poetry on panels.
Anyway, the Sandman, Daniel, pops up in one of the stories. It got me to thinking about how all those Superman haters out there say that Superman's invunerability and powers make for boring stories. Yet, Sandman, one of those above gods, that book managed to win a "Best Fiction" award in 1991. The only comic to ever, and will ever, win that award. Hmm..........

7 outof 10 people who claim to hate something really haven't read/watched/listened to what they're bashing.
And yes, I completely fabricated that number.

You know, in the aforementioned JLA issue guest-starring Daniel, Sandman tells Kyle that he will surpass Hal. Daniel tells him twice, which in fact, Kyle does, when he takes on The Power, and becomes Ion. Sadly, this was not taken into account during the Nu-Crisis.
Huh? Yeah, hold on:
All the "bad" things that have happened in the last two decades, the wanton murder, the horrible rape, the mind-wipes, Superman's death, Batman's breaking, Wonder Woman's murder; it should have all been equaled out by the sacrifice of Kyle. Kyle was given the power of gods, and he chose to channel that energy back into the cosmos. Kyle chose to recreate the nexus of All, Oa, and with it he recreated the Guardians. Ion single-handedly restored the balance to the Matter/Anti-Matter reality, that is to say, all reality. Kyle countered all the "bad" by restoring the ultimate neutrality to the universe. However, this was glossed over in the Nu-Crisis, and Kyle is always seen as just a rookie GL.
Hmph.
Anyway, lets get back to discussing boobs. xp
