I am happy the first week is [basically] over. I HATE the first like, few weeks of school because it feels awkward.

I have to sell 312 boxes of candy to go to Prom and Grad Nite! gonk I don't think you would be missing much with either. I'm guessing since you live like, here, you go to Disneyland for grad night. SO NOT worth it. They play like, the same 4-6 songs over and over again, about nothing is open, and it's just crowded with annoying. sweatdrop

My friend went last year and said it was worth the money (the price was $75). We leave around 8pm to Disneyland and stay until 7am the next night, I can sell the chocolate, it's just gonna take time. sweatdrop And all the rides will be open, so, yeah. xp
Edit: Make that 312 bars/bags of chocolate/gummy bears. I have to sell six boxes with 52 pieces inside.

And might I add that senior year costs so much money:
Gradnite (Optional) = $88 (I'm doing that deal above where I sell six boxes of candy with 52 pieces inside and pay $32 for one ticket to Grad Nite and Prom)
Prom (Optional) = $94
Tuxedo for Prom (Optional) = $80 (where my friend rented his)
Senior Dues (Cap and gown, year book, senior portfolio, etc) = $170
Any books I may not have and need to pay for = Around $100
Senior Picture (Optional) = $20
Group Senior Picture (Optional) = $17
... gonk

Kin's Boss Nick: Hey, listen... Kin: ... You're going to ask if I don't mind not coming in today, right? Nick: That's about it brother. Kin: ... Still having payroll problems? Nick: Terribly. Kin: ...All right. *hangs up* VENGENCE!!! *proceeds to tear heads off of pizza delivery guy next door* -/Flashback!- Balance between getting fired, and not getting any hours. :/ no fun. In most states you can file for partial unemployment in situations like this. I don't know if I could though. Technically I'm still 'part-time' even though I was putting in enough to qualify as a full-timer up until a few weeks ago, since I started the job even. Grah, I'm really tempted to start looking around for somewhere else to work. We were supposed to get eval'd at the end of December, then they pushed it back to the end of January, and I still haven't heard a word of it. neutral *not a happy camper* Whatever... I'll go back to the scrap yard and get enough money to pay off another semester of school if I have to.
