All right.... just hold still for a little bit. *He rubbed his hands together and they glowed gold for but a moment* This might feel a little strange, but if this goes right you should start to feel better. *Than, as gently as he could, placed his hand on Eecheb's back. He knew Eecheb didn't like physical contact, but it should help once the pain started to waver. Than was going to use his weak telepathy. It was so weak in fact, that Than could only do anything with it if he was in physical contact with his target. Even then, he could only make someone feel slightly numb, which was what he intended to do with Eecheb. After a few moments, the boy should start to have less physical sensations*..... *If this worked.... then Than would go on to tell the boy that he'd failed to earn him the rights to the lighter. Than was still depressed on that topic. The night Eecheb had dropped it, Than took it back to his room and even etched Eecheb's name into the metal... so that no one would be able to mistake that it belonged to his brother*

*Eecheb grumbles a little, as Thanatos had said, the feeling was a little strange and fuzzy if it could be said. Any spot on the boy's body that was sore, started to tingle then feel fuzzy. Eecheb blinks at the wall infront of him, not really sure about what Thanatos was doing. Even around the spot where Thanatos' hand was felt odd*

Is the pain starting to hurt less? *Than had to ask to make sure he was helping at all* I'm trying to numb your body a little. Numbing won't make your body feel good, but it should at least make you feel less pain. At least ,if I do it right

*As accurate a statement as the boy could surmize. Micha remained the same, just staring at the bracelet seeming ignorant on what to do with it, now that it was within his hand*

*Than chuckled a little* That's what happens when you feel numb, so I guess it's working. *He slowly pulled his hand back* That should at least make it feel a little less painful for a while. If it starts to hurt again, just let me know oke? *Than seemed to have taken to his japanese pronounciation of the word okay*

*The boy remained where he was for now. He could no longer feel the flares of pain that riddled his body from before, but given what Thanatos had said they might come back later*

All right. Oh.... one more thing. *Than sighed* Eecheb.... I talked to your mom like I said I would the other night...... *Than held his breath a bit. Thoughts that Eecheb would absolutely despise him were of course there, no matter how unrealistic*

*The positive response only made Than feel a little worse, since it showed that Eecheb had been hopeful* She....... she said..... that it wasn't the right time..... and that you can have it back when she thinks it's the right time......

*Obviously the news wasn't going to be taken well, and was shown not to be when the boy grumbles, and makes a unaudible growl. Eecheb was speaking in his normal tone, so it was moderately loud. Trilla starts to stir in her sleep a bit because of it, and rolls over. Micha seemed unphased by Eecheb's complaining all together*
Eecheb: ~_~; Mmn.... What's that supposed to mean?

*Than sighed; he would have to say it straight out. He momentarily cursed himself for being a coward in his previous explanation* For now...... it means you can't keep it.......I'm sorry Eecheb.... *Than closed his eye, but looked towards his brother, ready to stare into his eyes full of hatred should they so be cast upon him*

*Eecheb didn't seem to understand why he wasn't old enough to have the lighter. He was old enough to get other things and to go outside of the tower, so why couldn't he keep the lighter? He was disgrunted, but remained staring at the wall*

*Than thought for a moment about how to answer the question. Truthfully, he didn't know how to* She.....thinks that you have other things to learn before you can have it, and after you learn those things, then you can have the lighter. I'm sorry Eecheb, I don't really know..... you'll have to ask her yourself.....

*He'd have to ask himself? Then he'd do just that the next time he saw his mother, for he still didn't see why he couldn't have it. It was like giving a child candy, then taking it away before they can even get a bite. The child knows the candy is sweet, and is disgruntled because they aren't allowed to have it. The same could be said about the lighter. Thanatos had shown Eecheb how it worked, and that it made a flame, and the boy wanted to try aswell but was now told he was not allowed*

*Than was semi relieved. Eecheb didn't seem to be hateful towards him for failing.... and in a way it meant more than just that. Than smiled very slightly* Oke. I'll let you talk to her about that. But for now.... you might want to wait until the pain stops completely. Remember, if you start hurting again, just tell me.... *Than slowly got up and looked around. He noticed Micha staring at his bracelet and blinks* >>? ^^; *Than decides to leave his quiet little brother be and makes his way over to Trilla's bed. Than just smiled down at Trilla, before turning and gently sitting down on the side of her bed. If she wasn't awake, then she could just keep on sleeping. Whenever she woke up, odds were Than would have to brace himself to stay on the bed*
