"...no.." He said softly and looked at her then him again, watching him without moving his attention away."..Who does the lady speak of if that's not him.."He looked back at her, slideing around to face her, blinking softly at her as he shook his head to settle his hair.

"Oh... you mean Vincent? He's not awake yet..." Lily blinked, then looked to the stairs. "Or I could be wrong..."
She was... there stood Vincent, watching the two of them with a small smile. He recognized the boy; River hadn't killed him. That was good. He walked over slowly, tousling Lily's hair when he reached them. "Morning chit. And who's this?"

The little boy scratched his neck, it as starting to itch where the little marks where. Frowning softly he watched him come over and then blinked at his expression. "..Lily.." The little boy asked sinking down a bit where he sat, ears folding themselves into his equaly black hair, tail swaying across the floor. Blinking softly as he stared, pulling softly at his shirt, and decided it'd be better to watch the floor.

"Its' okay Kaden. This is Vincent... he's a pretty good guy. He's my big brother." she added, smiling at the boy. "He won't hurt you. Vincent, this is Kaden." she told the man, completing the introduction. "He seems to be an orphan... River thought maybe you could look after him."
"Of course." Vincent murmured, crouching down so he was on the boy's level. "It's nice to meet you, Kaden." Then he fell silent, simply surveying the child for a moment, smile warm.

Kaden bit his lower lip and sunk a bit more before hearing his name and blinking."..mm-hi..." He waved a pale hand softly and scratched a bit more at his neck, irritated slightly, a the tingle he got from it now.
'..." He reached a hand out and touched his hair, softly in his fingers and blinked at it's feeling, before letting go and itching his neck again.
"..V..vincent-sama?.." The boy asked Lily looking at her, pulling at his shirt a bit, shifting around so his tail to rest on the floor.

"It's just Vincent." The man answered fro himself, smiling when the boy touched his hair. "Does your neck itch?" he asked, frowning as he reached into his pocket. "Wounds do that sometimes. I have something that will help, if you want." he added, pulling out a small container. "It's an ointment. It will help you heal."
Lily didn't speak for the time being, just watching carefully. If the boy didn't seem to take well to Vincent, then... well, she'd look after the boy.

"..I'm..k-kaden!.." He answered him and losened up a bit nodding at him."..It itches..I don't know..why.." He said softly rubbing it again, the small punctures there, had black and blue spots around them, brusing is what it was. He flinched finding himself rubbing to hard, and sighing, nodding up to the Man softly, ears listening to him speak.

"It itches because it's starting to heal." Vincent told him, giving a simplified explanation. "This will help... can I put it on?" he asked, smiling still. "It stops the itch and will help the bruising go down."

Arlen stood quietly and carried his dishes into the kitchen and washed them in the sink. Though after he was done he just stood there at the sink.

Deciding that the two were going to get along just fine, Lily kissed Kaden's forehead, then stood and followed after Arlen, wrapping her arms around him from behind. "Hey love." she murmured.

He blinked and nodded a bit pulling his shirt down to show him."..Okay.." He blinked more and watched him then the others aroun tail flicking a bit as he waited.

Vincent smiled, then opened the container, then carefully spread the ointment on the wound. "There we go... the itch should stop right away." he murmured.
"He's okay... I think he likes the name. I hope he does. I'm more worried about you." Lily told him, her chin on his shoulder.
