Aled laughed, "Perhaps it would be better for me to issue a statement on my wife." he said, the work biting. "She was not kidnapped... she betrayed me."
At this, the Ou's eyes narrowed.
"She betrayed me for that b*****d of a lover..."

Morrigan nodded. "Thank you. You are gracious hosts." she thanked him, quite calm.
Kazuhiko, on the otherhand...
"WOW!!! What's all this?!!!" he demanded, crawling down and starting to dash around the complex. "HI! HI! HI! HI! HI!" he started waving at random people, spinning around before seeing the game room. "What's THAT?!!"
Eara just started laughing. "I hear a certain nephew of mine..."
"AUNTIE EARA!" he screamed, launching himself onto her. "I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!---Hey, why are you...why...?"
His confusion was quite comical as he poked her casts. "How...how did your arms get fat? And hard? And REALLY pale? OH... Oh my GODDESS is THAT what bones look like?!!! I'M PLAYING WITH AUNTIE'S BONES!" he declared gleefully. "YES!"
Morrigan bit her lip. "Gentle, Kazu-kun... Might want to be quiet... Auntie Eara's---"
"Hurt." Kazuhiko cut in. "Don't worry, Mum, I'll help heal her."
And just like that he started getting to work on sending the holy energy her way.
Avaon looked genuinely surprised. "N..Naniyo???" he shook his head. "So she did do that on her own... And you haven't executed her yet??" he asked in disbelief. "Get rid of her... You could keep me forever, Aled-sama, and never have to worry of such a thing."
He rubbed his shoulders affectionately---the man was a master with muscles. "I don't understand how someone wouldn't want you, Aled-sama. I've had a little-boy crush on you for as long as I can remember."

"Watch it, wipersnapper!" Patch scolded the child as he and Bubbles continued to place Eara's bones in casts.
Julius just shook his hed. "Too bad Kazuhiko hates sugar so much," he said said jockingly, "I'd hate to see how hyper he is on that."

Meanwhile Kit had fully prepared herself and was slipping from shadow to shadow, invisable enad undetected to Aled's palace.

But Ainsu was already awake, gently rubbing Kaguyo's back.
Even as she jolted awake, he was there, trying to give her some form of comfort.
"Warui no yume, ne?" Ainsu whispered knowingly, his gaze filled with worry as he looked into the woman's eyes.

Kazuhiko stuck his tongue out at Patches. "I'll snap your fingers off like a turtle!" he wrinkled his nose and bit the air. "Auntie Eara, they're not hurting you are they??"
"No, Kazu-kun." Eara smiled warmly. "These are good people."
Morrigan rolled her eyes---not so much at Julius, but about Kazuhiko. She was smiling, though. "Oh, no... Kazu-kun? Like sugar? Never in a thousand years."
Kazuhiko nodded. "Good, because if anyone threatens us they're gonna die." he promised cheerfully, kissing the top of her forehead. "Your head's not broken anymore."
"It was fixed to begin with?" Morrigan teased, but Kazuhiko looked adorably silly, looking around.
"Ummmm..... Yes! It was." he decided with a giggle, nuzzling Eara. "You won't need your other bones on the outside for much longer, though, Auntie Eara, just a moon or two. Ok?"
"Alright." Eara kissed his cheek. "You're a sweetheart, you know that?"
"Yessssss." he could've pranced. He was so pleased with himself. "The SWEETEST!"
He decided to go investigate Pixel, peeking over the side of her bed. "HI!" he proclaimed suddenly. "What's your name?"
It was hard to be mean to a boy who was 1)so damn cute and 2)always smiling, especially the way Kazuhiko was. His curiosity was infectious.
"My name is Ka-zu-hi-ko." he spoke really slowly, as if testing it out. "I think. Sometimes I'm not sure."

Kaguyo leaned into Ainsu's arms, nodding. "Hai." she whispered, "Warui no yume..."
She took long, deep, steady breaths, trying to calm down. She wouldn't really talk about what she'd seen, unaware of her sleep-speech; she didn't want Ainsu to worry any more than he already was.
"I'm glad you're here, Su-kun." she tilted her head back, kissing his jawline. "I feel safe now."
Avaon slinked over to Aled, wrapping his arms around his waist. "And so far, how am I doing?" he asked gently, kissing his neck and shoulders. "What could be less interesting than a fully compliant partner, Aled-sama?"

"I can help that." Kazuhiko chirped, climbing onto the bed and holding his hands over her temples. His energy began to pulse into her head, warm and soothing. "I hope you feel better."
He was honestly a good kid.
Once he was done, he gave her a hug and kissed her third eye. "Why don't you smile very much Pixy-lady?" he tilted his head, snuggling her. "You look so stressed and sad. I don't like it. You're too pretty to pout."

"I won't let you leave my side." Ainsu replied with a slight smile. "Do you... do you want to talk about the dream? He was hurting you, wasn't he?"

Pixel eyed the child in disbelief. "Right. Thanks, Kid," she said flatly. "And I'm not pouting. I'm tired, just got the crap beaten out of me by your Granddaddy and I really don't have tome to be out of commision. Head of security and people keep freakign TELEPORTING into my building."

Avaon smirked. "Well, that's all you had to say." he shrugged gently. "I was honestly worried you wouldn't like someone more... aggressive..." he whispered into his ear, pushing him against the wall. "I figured you would want to be the one calling all the shots."
Kazuhiko frowned. "I can heal you more." he stroked her hair kindly. "Don't be stressed. I saw what happens!" he leaned forward, whispering like it was a secret. "I promise I'll save all of you, you don't have to worry. The king of rats will be fine."
He seemed more cheerful saying this than most adults would have been.
He began to heal her more, pulling the stress and tension from her body. "Just be calm and focus on the sun." he suggested. "Feel everything going away."
Kaguyo was silent for a while before nodding, sighing deeply and closing her eyes. "How did you know?"

"My womb, and then the Cauldron of Rebirth I made." Morrigan answered that, and Kazuhiko beamed proudly.
"I actually crawled out of her belly and stuff, it was gross." he giggled. "I made a really big mess of Mum. But then Momma Cerridwen and Papa Cernunnos and Momma Morrigan and Papa Dagda and a bunch of other people all came and started talking to me, and then I was aware of this world, and one day I'll be the next Hunter, and I'll be the best! They told me! And then Mumma Cerridwen let me drink of HER cauldron and I came through HERE and suddenly it was really bright and neat!"
He yawned, stretching out beside her. "But don't worry, Auntie Pixy, because the rat-king will be safe. I promise! A fae can't go against his word.... Right Mumma?"
"That's right." she agreed. "And that's why it is seldom given."
"Right!" he nodded. "So you're the first! You can keep my word forever----I think mine is going to be....hmm... monkey."
"Not like that...!"
Kazuhiko broke into giggles before growing serious. "Mumma, you don't want to stand there." he warned her. "No one does. Ok?"
She raised an eyebrow but stepped to the side, continuing to discuss diplomacy matters with Julius.

"So, no offense to your son, but I think Kazuhiko might need to stay home for the next village," Julius said.
Pixel was starign at the child is disbelief. "You're a bit twisted, Kid."
"He's adorable!" Bubbles gushed, hugging the boy from behind. "Like a puppy, only even cuter!"
Pixel rolled her eyes. "'Course I guess the twistsed part come from your 'teacher'" she muttered under her breath.
