Shoujo Phoenix Just for the record, I had the shittiest first day of college ever. I hate it so far. sad I wish I were back at the JC where I was more comfortable. But life isn't like that crying

But life isn't like that crying That sucks... what happened? Tell me on the way, Dark Shoujo, for we must stop Dr Noobitron from leveling his moron ray on the citizens of Durem! Avengers Gaia, assemble! In short... -runs along with Stream to Durem- I registered for a lecture/lab class...but the lecture and lab with different teachers. I find out yesterday that you can't do that and the registrar system didn't show that you had to (since it will usually show an error if there's a problem). I could have taken the lab with my lecture teacher since he had spots open in his lab class...unfortunately, I would have to drop this other class that I refuse to drop (this cognitive developmental psychology) because it overlaps. Out of luck with the lecture teacher. So I talk to the lab one who has a lecture class that wouldn't overlap. Unfortunately, he added 15 people that morning when he only had 10 spots open, anticipating people will drop because of the work load of the class. It is then likely I cannot get in because of the shortage of the statistical methodology psychology research lecture/lab classes. I was screwed out of both classes. So...I ended up settling for a lower division course with my lady and a friend Monday evenings that sounds fun...but doesn't really count towards anything but unit filler. I'm taking only 12 units now because at this point, it's practically impossible to add anything at CSUN because of how overcrowded the university is. stressed The ONLY fortunate thing going for me is the fact that I am a semester ahead of where I should be in school, so things will settle out. AND the fact that I should get a certain level of priority to register in the fall. Also, this gives me the opportunity to understand how these upper division classes go and calculate how much I can handle at a time. Another down side is how upset my mother is with me because of how few units I'm taking. gonk

I've got Physical Geography, Honors Classical Mythology, Microeconomics, Statistics, British Literature and Sign Language.
Wheeee....>_<
And then of course, no pressure, but if I bomb any of these then UC Santa Cruz is delayed...

Wheeee....>_< And then of course, no pressure, but if I bomb any of these then UC Santa Cruz is delayed... I used to take 19 units a semester (my first year of college)...it wasn't bad at all thinking about it. I still had a lot of spare time and I did pretty well.

Streamjumper Zelyhon *SPOILER ALERT FOR ALL THOSE NOT UP TO THAT POINT IN BLEACH* Oho, so Aizen's reappeared then? Awesome. What'd you think of his sword? A bit overpowered, no? XD I really did like the end of that arc, myself. What'd you think?Spoilers in white... Actually, I thought that it was a rather nice touch, and not entirely overpowered.
Remember, the Death Gods haven't really shown any particular proclivity towards significant levels of mental strength. Even the more magically adept are focused on either healing or destructive abilities rather than dealing with much in the way of subterfuge, whether mystical or mundane... they couldn't find a guy who ran away from them to hide in the mortal world walks around with a girl who uses spirit bazookas, a massive mystic with noticable abilities, and runs a shop that their own agents frequent... and he didn't even change his name.
They simply don't question things. EVER.Spoilers in white Oh, I'm not denying that it's a nice touch to focus on the mental a little more. I like his sword plenty. I just think that, compared to the other soul slayers we've seen, it's *much* more powerful. Part of that might just be Aizen's own strength (y'know, the whole stop a bankai with a finger), but the ability to make perfect illusions like that, when used properly, can pretty much screw anyone over. It's still awesome and well suited to a final enemy, as I presume Aizen is. I'm almost afraid to ask what his Bankai is...
Yeah, Death gods don't seem to think a whole lot about the more subtle approaches to...well...anything. The only two who've shown that ability are Aizen and Urahara. Even if they did think harder about it, though, Aizen's ability would be hard to deal with.
