 Technically, all I need now is sulfur and charcoal and the fortress would have gunpowder. Further proving that the most dangerous thing in dorf fortress is dorfs.

I should really learn to play dorf fortress already. I have it installed and have the wiki bookmarked, I just never learned the controls and functions or how to read the symbols.

I need to keymap before I can even play. Laptop +/- keys don't work for altering stats at your starting screen. It does not inspire me.

I'm also on a laptop, and can hardly remember hotkeys for games like Starcraft. I mean, like, any of them. I suck with hotkeys.
I gave up hope on learning Dorf Fort a while ago, but I still aspire to make a fortress and some thread detailing the horrors within. For now, I'll settle for making things out of rocks in Fen's fort. And probably eventually learning to carve and deciding it's prudent to use all my time carving images of cheese and elephants into every wall.

I'm considering restarting the fort in a different location.
It may be a haunted mountain, but it's just not... dangerous enough to truly be a dwarf fort.
