With all of the gift- wrap, ribbons and bows, dare I even ask.. are there any survivors?

Surprisingly enough, my kitty hadn't been lost amidst all of this cheerful revelry. Of course, he believes that a certain rug is entirely his and so he's rolled, stretched and rubbed his fluffy cheeks against it throughout the day. Possession is nine- tenths of the law and my gosh, he knows it. ^o^

But alas, if the holidays themselves haven't overwhelmed you, these sales just might do the trick. The year's end is quickly approaching now and everyone wants to clear their shelves for something new. I'll be buying some gray paint for the garage and a novel to entertain me for hours on end.

So what are you intending to buy? ..or is this it and you're calling in for a long winter's nap? Hey, no- one would blame you and the shoppers would even thank you for your kindness. The ball's in your court and so this choice is entirely your own. *gathers each of her coupons and peruses the sales*

If your walls are painted a conservative color such as whites and creams, perhaps you'll want to choose curtains that are so very fun and different. On the other hand, if your walls are bold such as terracotta or a rich blue, a set of curtains to either complement or set off your decor in a pleasant sort of way would be great.

Varied hues of whites, blacks, browns and creams are my favorite choices for business attire because they can be mixed 'n matched onto eternity. And so, when you wear something that really pops, your co- workers and superiors will really take notice.

But please remember that every choice is your own. Have fun, look around and come away from this experience feeling enriched, enlightened and content most of all.

Ah, excellent choice sir. Even though I don't personally like the genre, I've always thought those boys sure know hot to play their instruments. I think you would be at bliss in Finlands annual Tuska festival. smile

@Sindereia: Well our walls are mostly sandy, light brown but we have one wall in the living room that is warm sunny yellow and orange. I was planning that I'll use two colors in the curtain that I put overlapping each other. As a "base" I'll use warm yellow color, but not bright yellow, sort of a wheat color. Then over that in the living room end (our living room, kitchen and dining room are one big space) I'll use pale natural white and in the dining room end I'll use chocolate brown, since our dining table and chairs are chocolate brown. Now, the only trouble is to find the right fabrics and colors. whee

I wonder what they would think if you came in wearing a corset and this...
