"Because this is the only place where I think we can be. If we leave, the pharaoh will find us one way or another, right? And it's not like we can go back and ask Bakura and Rei for help." Ryou shivered. "I can't be around Bakura. Not anymore. How far can we go on our own in this place? We don't know anything about how this life is. We might starve or something, get killed out there..." Ryou took in a breath. "Here... at least you're safe. Y-y-you're the pharaoh's wife now, right? Atem'll keep you safe."

"You can probably threaten yourself for things like that..." Ryou said, biting his bottom lip. "Just say you'll kill yourself if, you know, certain things aren't met. But you can't press it too much or they'll know you don't mean it or something."

Atem, of course, had been listening to them. While his shoulders had been popped out of socked, that didn't mean he was unconscious. He smirked, closing his eyes and waiting for it to happen. Any moment now, he knew. He watched Ryou carefully, just waiting.
Ryou winced, rubbing his throat where he had been cut. He suddenly pulled away from Kira, pressing his hand against the cut. It burned, felt like he had fire instead of blood. His breathing got shallower as he began to feel numb. Swaying slightly, he noticed the pharaoh looking up at him with a little smirk. 'Poisoned...?' he wondered to himself.
[That's the same kind of poison Atem had used on Bakura when they shook hands; he put it on the blade he used against Ryou.]

"Ryou...Ryou whats wrong?" she said worriedly. She grasped him so he wouldent fall over.

Ryou snapped his eyes shut, gritting his teeth together against the pain as it moved through his body. "P-p-poison..." he gasped. "On th-the blade..."He gave Atem a wide-eyed stare; it was obvious by the smirk on Atem's face that Ryou's guess was true.

Kira's eyes narrowed. She gently sat ryou down so he was sitting. picking up the blade she dug it into atem's neck just enough to piercethe skin letting blood run down his neck "were is the antidote?" she said coldly.

Atem winced, gritting his teeth together. "Seto decided he wanted to be in charge of it since the last incident with Bakura earlier. You'll have to see him about it."

Kira growled. She removed the puzzle from atem then sreched his mind to see if he wassaying was true.

It was, unfortunately. Ryou quietly slipped into a coma and Atem twitched, starting to feel the effects of the poison from when Kira had stabbed him. "I'd hurry if I were you." Atem said, smirking. "Who knows how long the coma will last for poor Ryou."
[The big happy monkey squashed the banana with its teeth.]

Kira tossed the blade aside. Scooping up ryou she quickly headed to find seto.

Seto was in his chambers, pacing back and forth, like usual. He often did this more and more. He found that it was the easiest ways to think nowadays.
