I do the same thing, lol..
Or I have days where I get up for my 8 am classes, then stay up until 3 anyway because I feel like there's still time to get things done and sleeping would be wasting that time.. but then I just end up on Tumblr for hours.

And surfing the internet is nothing only if you're not actively getting anything from it. I can say the exact same thing about television, which is why I don't watch it.

Instead it's Reddit or a *chan for me.

But still! emotion_donotwant Never understood why people have a raging stiff against those who spend most of their time online, but then a little later those same people sit down on the couch, flip channels, and watch whatever shitty TV show catches enough interest to kill time.

But still! emotion_donotwant Never understood why people have a raging stiff against those who spend most of their time online, but then a little later those same people sit down on the couch, flip channels, and watch whatever shitty TV show catches enough interest to kill time. only TV I watch is news channels. at night. and even then not even every WEEK!

Chieftain Twilight only TV I watch is news channels. at night. and even then not even every WEEK! I don't even bother with the news on TV. It's bought out by corporate interests and the real news is diluted or just plain missing anyway. Absolutely nothing on TV that you can't get online, plus online you can confirm whether or not something is bullshit by digging around some. Frankly if I lived on my own I would not have cable or anything like that, but my family insists on it because of ___ show on TV that's hard to find online thanks to the cable exclusives.

I grew up with no cable at home whatsoever. I only saw Spongebob when I was in a hotel, visiting a friend, or at my aunt's when she moved 5 years ago. Now that I have cable at my dorm, idk what to do with it. I still watch what I normally watched. xD

I still enjoy hearing from some of the investigative journalists, and I appreciate Rachel Maddow's dedication to research and Chriss Matthew's funny old-fashioned remarks and talkative nature. sides, one of my personal heroes is Richard Engle. that man is awesome. Journalists in general have my respect.

I'm not the least bit familiar with those folks. I never pay attention to the people, only the content. If you don't know what to do with it but still want to fit in with everyone else, why not use the internet to look up different TV shows and their running schedules? Or if you're starting to watch a show midway through the series, you can look up a summary of everything that happened up to where you're at now.
