And alright, I just know it's not in the compendium, or in your bio in the history forums. So I figured I'd ask.
I planned for an idea roughly around the name of Puppet eyes.
So I figured I'd try not to use and technique, that was already used.Sorry for missing that Reeve. Can I call you Reeve? Alright! lol. Anyways, if you want to use it, go right ahead. All you'd need to do is ask the person (whom is still actively using it) if you could use that technique. mrgreen

Now, there are ways to avoid getting her to fight to the death, you just have to find a way to convince her. (I will say this, though. If your records go to the extent of making a copy of her, she'd be even more eager to destroy.)

Hedoro takes any restrictions on her freedom very seriously, so if you're not doing anything like that, you could avoid a death if you find the right key.
