While I hate to sound like the hipster a*****e that I really am at heart, it really figures that the Decemberists sign with a major record label and then start to produce music that can really only be described as, "The Suck."
Two songs on the whole album that don't blow completely, and one of those is only vaguely tolerable.

Somehow, people make the best music when theyre making it only for themselves and those within near earshot. 3nodding

Three whole albums of absolutely amazing tricks, one brilliant EP, two more wonderful EPs, they finally get some attention from the mainstream and it's like...what the hell.
I will be saving these two songs, deleting this album, and pretending it never came out. And since I've got two months before it actually will..
