when Im done checking IVs I switch kurai in so you can see the ball I guess. XD iono XD

Oh man, I check back to read that 'average' is another word for 'bad'.
Well, no wonder I had so much trouble with the Elite Four.
Cough-nevermind that I had really poor type coverage and many redundant weaknesses to begin with-Cough.
But hey, it was my first run with a new game.

naw, that stuff doesn't matter for playing through, the pokes in my team had pretty aweful ratings when I played through and beat it

I mostly had a huge level disadvantage. About ten levels or so, since I had trained some late-comers up fast during the last part. Then I switched out my Lucario back for Leafeon.
If I can remember, I had Gliscor, Empoleon, Luxray, Lapras, a really slow Houndoom ... aaaand a Leafeon I disliked.

lol, yah, the E4 was a lot higher than me... but... i had a swordsdance gliscor that pretty much raped eerything with earthquake, or ice fang.

Yeah, my Gliscor carried my low levels and slow pokemon.
With Dig and Ice Fang. I never got around to finding Earthquake, although, I know where it is now.
But my team was extra sad. Empoleon was my only real counter for other water pokemon, and I only taught him water and steel moves, so everything was not very effective. Luxray was slow and underpowered, along with Leafeon, and I was less than excited about their movesets. My Houndoom ate everything ... as long as they were slower than him. And I could never get off a Nasty Plot.
My poor Lapras was the worst. It was great, but under leveled, and Gliscor's Ice Fang was better because of his speed. And Empoleon was a better choice for water STAB, with awesome Steel resistances.
