FFG: No. xp I think the LAUSD requires all ninth graders to read Romeo and Juliet (I was reflecting when I had to read it; I'm a senior right now). My English teacher brought it up as an analogy to Brave New World's quote, Civilization is sterilization. Yeah, I guess that is part of what Huxley meant. It's sad, really. I really liked Brave New World, but it's kind of depressing to see some of its similarites with modern day... sweatdrop
I've seen that a lot of books can be compared to our modern day culture, hell, we've somewhat turned into 1984.
