In the dungeons, Atem had approached Ryou's cell. Ryou looked up and closed his eyes, as though if he could ignore Atem he would go away.

Within munites kira was in the dungen "ryou!" she called out.

"Over here." Atem called out. He had entered the cell and had a dagger at Ryou's throat, digging in so that it drew blood. "I have a good idea of what you're probably planning, Kira." He commented casually. He had made sure to lock the cell so that Kira couldn't enter. "You're probably thinking about how you were going to come down here, get your boy, and leave. Well it doesn't really work like that. You are now my wife, so you're going to stay here. If you do anything I disagree with, I'll go ahead and kill him, then have it so that you're chained up in one of these cells, just so you don't escape. I'm not the oblivious idiot you make me out to be; I know of Seto's doings, and I won't disturb him unless he does something that just goes too far." Ryou's eyes were still closed; he looked almost peaceful, just sitting there with the dagger to his throat.

Kira's eyes widen slightly "fine..just let him go..." she said eying ryou carfuly.

"No, not this easily. I'm going to need to make sure nothing's going to happen later on. I want you to give me your Millennium Item, so I know you won't try to use it against me or any of my people." Atem said, his grip loosening a little on Ryou. "Just take it out and roll it over to me, okay?"

Kira was watching ryou before she looked to atem "You relize if I take it out,i'll bleed to death..."

"Hmm, you may be right." Atem paused to consider for a moment and then stood up, pulling Ryou as well. "Perhaps it would best to do this with healers nearby to help the bleeding. Come, then, we'll go to the infirmary." He considered a moment, glancing down at Ryou. "Would you like to have a word or two with him first?" He offered.

Kira was quiet for a moment before making a minklink with ryou she said softly.

Was Ryou's only response, opening his eyes but not looking directly at Kira.

Ryou snapped the mind link shut, a cold look coming onto his face. Atem had been yawning, bored with just waiting, and didn't react very quickly when Ryou elbowed him sharply in his stomach. Atem doubled over, the dagger falling to the ground, and then Ryou seized Atem's arms, near the elbows, and pulled backwards sharply so that the pharaoh's shoulders popped out of place. Atem screamed with the pain, dropping down to the floor as Ryou let go of him.

Kira was very quiet as she watched this happen. She felt bad enough but now ryou was upset with her...It made her depressed thinking about it.

Ryou left Atem to go over to the bars. He reached through the gap and took one of Kira's hands in his own. "I love you, Kira." He said with a half-smile. "I know that this wasn't your fault at all. Don't blame yourself at all."

Kira looked up a bit shocked he wasent mad. She then smiled softly "hold on ryou I'll get you out of there." she said. She took a pin from her hair and picked the pick "One good thing I learned from that rei girl is picking locks." she opened the cell door and quickly hugged ryou tight.
