Very well then. :::She pours herself a glass and takes a long whiff before sipping it. She takes the glass away from her lips and just looks at Maggie staring back at her. It really was a site for soar eyes:::
Tell me Maggie, I wondered all this time. Have you finally learned to read english? Did Bard finish teaching you?

Yes, certainly. :::She takes a sip::: I have learned what I can, from this...
:::She takes out her locket:::
In my darkest moments, this was the only thing that allowed me to remember that the Brink was real. That I hadn't lost my mind. It was its message, though I can't read it just yet, that kept me going...
:::She began to feel choked up, but she took a breathe to shake it off. She was back now and there was no point to be sad about it:::
I'm so glad I held on, it was all worth it just to see you all again. :::She hides her quivering lips in her wine glass:::

*Maggie just looks at her for a moment. What she's saying now, compared to what she said before . . . could she be remembering it wrong?*
*She shakes the thought off. Cora's here now and alright, that's what matters. She reaches out to take her hand again supportively, then glances down at the locket* 'Twas a gift from Tavin, was it not?

:::She gently hands it to Maggie so that she can take a closer look at it:::
The metal was, yes. The gift was from everyone. I said it to the Seraphim so long ago, but it took an abundance of time, all alone to really understand that.

*Maggie takes the locket carefully, running her fingers over it and then focusing on the inscription*
O... fih . . .*she frowns in concentration, testing out both the 'k' and 's' sounds in her mind. The latter makes much more sense in this case* Officer . .. *and then the other way around* Co-ra . . . Sseh . . reh . . . nis . . . *she continues to try and stumble her way along through it*

:::She smiles watching Maggie read the locket:::
I can read my name, and Tavin's name. And I know that 'friends' is there as well. I had to be very careful with that thing in my world. I did not have time to concentrate on it. But now I finally do.

:::She took the locket back with a bit of a sad face::: It wasn't just this. It was so much more. Thank you.
:::But she took a breathe through her nose and perked up::: Now, no more of this! Everything alright now. Back to normal. Right?

:::Cora sees Maggie begin to fade, and her expression grows dimmer:::
Ohh! :::then she huffs. After a moment of stillness, she takes the locket and puts it around her neck. Then she begins to sip the wine again. She thought about Maggie fading, and rememered again that she had not faded. It was hard to tell how long it had been.
She tried not to think too much of it, and to just be glad to be back in the Brink. Perhaps it was making up for lost time. She finished her wine slowly, and after putting away the glass, she headed back to her room:::
