Caius was reading a book and looked over,"Shayde my old friend."

"Boring by my standard...but damn man...the years have not been kind."He said laughing.

A boy looking maybe ten or eleven with dark blavk hair and his eyes glowing slight purple ran into the room and spun around towards the door, a bow and arrow in hands and aiming at the entrance. He was out of breath and smiling. "I finally won!" He yelled out the door. Aqua, her hair short and red now and her figure more pronounced, walked in through the door and leaned on the door frame crossing her arms, looking at the boy. " Ya you win. Now put the bow and arrow away before you hurt yourself, again." She said then look up noticing Caius and another man. He looked familiar but from where she was she couldn't see him well enough. "Hey Cauis." she said to him as she walked past the boy, ruffling his hair as she did. He fixed his hair before running up to Caius. "I'm faster than her now Cauis!" He exclaimed happily. Aqua rolled her eyes. "Yep, Dante finally beat me." She said with a wink over his head so he couldn't see.

Dante grinned up at him and nodded prou of the comment. "Yep, mom says I'm just like him and I'll be really stron when I get older." He said before running over to a bed and jumping up on it. "Caius! Can you take me out to hunt again. I like going out with you, it's fun!" He said, bouncing slightly on the bed as he looked at Caius.

Aqua smiled hearing the comment and when she saw who the other man was she let out a soft gasp and quickly looked over to Dante who wasn't paying any attention to them anymore. She let out a small sigh of relief before looking back at Shayde. She gestured out to the front of the cabin and walked outside before waiting for him.

She let herself be swept up into the still so familiar feel of his hug. After a second she realized it an pushed against to get out of his hold. She held her arms around herself trying not to tremble when he let her go. "I've missed you too but...." Her voice was weak and she refused to look at him as he let her sentence trail off. Her hands, still on her arms, were bare of any jewelry including th ring he had given her when they married. When she let go of herself, the light outside caught on the ring hanging from a chain around her neck. "He's almost eleven now. We spent time with my family so it's been more than three or four years for us. He's not a baby any more and sometimes he is stronger than me. Do you know what it was like trying not break down and cry in front of him when he showed how much like you he was?" her voice was still weak but knew he would be able to hear it just fine. Her hands were in fists at her sides.
