we have sooooo many band-lationships. it's, like, a big deal when someone dates outside of band, haha. we have the alto+flute, Trumpet+Guard (that one is naaaasty), Tuba+mello, trombone+flute, Tenor+drumline(that one is also pretty gross...), Clarinet+drumline, Clarinet+guard.....lol.
we went to new mexico this year....thaaaaat was fun, haha. i'm probably one of, like, five that didn't hook up on that trip....thought i DID get blamed for a certain white stain on the carpet...

Or band has 3 or 4 couples. It's good for a relationship cuz you see each other so much but if the relationship ends on bad terms then there's no escaping the other person. Does anyone else have a hierarchy in the "relationship tree"? For example, if a section leader dates a freshman or someone with a low chair they are made fun of but the low-end person is looke up to by his/her friends, who are usually also in a low position. I don't know if that's normal or if my band is just cruel. I'm currentl dating the 1st chair bass clarinet. I'm first chair baritone/2nd chair trombone. (yes, both!)

We have several. Of course, the band's one big dysfunctional family so it's a little weird.
Specially when you see two bandmates making out in full uniform... Awkward.

well we have a few brass players dating woodwind players, but our bands our seperated at the moment. me and my alto-playing boyfriend are probably the only band-lationship going on in just the woodwinds, and it's been going great ever since 7th grade (we're in 9th now)!

We always have a lot of band relationships, generally a girl instrument and a guy drummer is how they go, if not its just awkward. I dated a drummer end of last year and a tuba/sousaphone beginning of last year... I guess you could say i am used to band couples (what we call em)

Band nerds only date band nerds at my school, my first crush was a trumpet player, my first girlfriend was the drum major, and my current girlfriend is a french horn. All my band nerd friends have a band nerd as a partner. I can imagine something is going to happen on the 20 hour bus ride to Florida this spring...
