Actually I live in Oregon, now. (I miss my sunshine state...)
But ALL my family lives down there. Wanna see some of the pics my mom sent me? This is what she can see from their BALCONY!

I didn't even know about the fires until a few days ago when my mom called me letting me know everyone was all right. I was like "what the flip you talkin bout, whats going ON down there!?"
But yeah, everyone I know is okay. 200,000 and more people have been evacuated, over 1k houses destroyed or damaged. crying

They can't even get planes in the air due to all the smoke and ash... Theres no way they'll be able to put them out. Just save some homes and lives while it burns itself out.

That's really sad. I hope no more houses get destroyed. My uncle lives there and they turned off the gas due to a possible explosion.

I got promoted today! eek The manager comes up and she says that even though I've been there just a few months, she really trusts me and loves how I think on my feet. Yay extra $1 an hour (and more responsibility)!
I am in charge of lots of people now. twisted
