*Jumping into the air, Rayth curled into a ball and vanished with a pop*

*After Bard had left, Roan's image turned away and stared into the darkness that encroached on her*

*A section of writhing darkness shifted out of time with the rest, but did not reveal a face or figure*

.: You knew I was here. I am impressed :.

.: Shouldn't I have? You trained me after all :.

.: Yes, I recall that I did... :.

.: And this is about the price. You're getting too obvious in your old age. How did you find me here? :.

.: I know where you are always silly girl :.

.: You dont need to worry. None of them know. None of them CAN know. I have taken on another one to potentially replace the first, should he become... unavailable :.

.: So I noticed. You will train him to the same level. YOUR way. And bring in the other. There is much to be done and I dont recall giving you permission to play your own little games without them being of use to me also... :.

.: As you wish.... Sir. But my way. The blood... :.

.: Good girl. Hurry back to us. You know Im counting on you - after all, you ARE my most trusted agent... :.

*Chuckling, the patch of darkness turned blood red then faded away, leaving Roan glaring at the dark, her fists curled at her sides, shaking with emotion. Bringing herself back under control, she too faded away, determined to make use of this lapse time to rest*

*Bard dreamt of a war. Bodies lay torn in two across plains, demon warriors rode horseback, dragons raged from the skies, and he was stuck in the middle.
He stared deep in the battles of man and beast watching swords being swung and blood and limbs fly. He muttered a few Greek words to himself and then he smiled.
A blue aura began to flow around his hands, they writhed into his palms and as he drew his fingers in they began to glow.
He opened them again and thrust them into the heavens releasing a ripple in the clouds, causing them to intertwine and create darkness on the land. Bard closed his blood red eyes and focused his power on his summon.
Rain poured heavily drenching the warriors, dowsing the dragons flames stopping the war. All eyes focused on one spot in the sky where the darkest cloud started to peel back a cloaked rider.
All that could be heard was a clanging of metal, a cry of the dead and then the sounds of horses galloping down onto the battle field. The demonic rider raced through the armies, tearing their pure white souls from their bodies. It spared no-one.
Bard opened his eyes. The horse was a few inches from his face, it breathed a ice cold chill then raised its head. The rider leaped off of the horse and stared deep into Bards soul. Its hands crept towards its hood then whiped it back revealing the person beneath.
Bard gasped, his eyes widened and shook with fear, he took a few uneasy steps back nearly falling over, his lips trembled. The figure plunged his hellish hands into bards chest withdrew his soul and swallowed it front of him. The rider turned away and vanished into the air as bard lay dead on the battle field.*

*Bard woke up in a sweat, ran his hand through his damp hair then left his room to wash his face. He ran his hand under the cold tap cupping some water for him to quench his thirst, then splashed the rest over his head. He slowly gazed up into the bathroom mirror while his hand reached a nearby towel. He dropped it in fright. The cloaked rider stared back at him mimicking his movements. Bard rammed his fist into the mirror shattering it into a thousand pieces then fell to floor in agony with his fist bleeding.*

Elfy came into the Tavern or was it Elfy? She almost looked the same but things had changed the colour of her eyes and the constanted smile on her face had faded. Around her neck the leash could be seen as the creature that held the other end as they emegraged into the light. A third creature could be seen holding on to Elfy's hand its eyes set in sorrow as it looked up to its mistress. The tavern had seen it before when it rode in on Darkonth's neck or came with Elfy when she had a change to come here again.

Elfy looked around and seeing no one around seated herself in her normal couch, the one near the fire and just waited till someone could tell her where Roan was. The two creatures sat beside her and waited aswell

*A swelling torent of raven/purple sludge rose up enfront of elfy a older man stepped out, once his body was free the event behind him simply died down and rejoined his shadow. Although he looked in his 40s the man and the same aura as dagoth, leaning over elfy he smiled*

Your much more cute than I remember. What are you doing here all alone?

DeSeer bred I be, pixies god there annoying well then. Shall we go.

*With a twist of hs hand all the shadows in the room crashed into elfy and dagoth sucking them under its great wave, washing around the walls fading as qucikly as it came ushering them both to roans bed side*

Appearing in the same manner as he had left the DeSeer house hold, completing the ghostly turn, facing inward from the tavern doors, Corbin cocked a brow at the tiny pixie combatants.

"If I were getting paid, Im sure it wouldn't be enough for this."

Stepping forward, he crouched down near the two lights.

"Hey, tinkerbell dumb and dumber, I have strict orders to bring the two of you fun filled christmas lights to Elfy. So quit your bickering."

Corbin then waved his right hand, and the three were swept up in a whirling spire of shadows, before vanishing.
