Sora sighed, and looked at Minasia. "I know, I know. But you'll have to get over that. Nothing that you or I do will erase that," he said, and looked into her eyes, his own eyes watering up. "Now, if you keep crying like that, then I'll start crying," he said, rubbing the water away.
Kalios winced at the hit, but relaxed as she healed it. Everyone is going to die at one point or another. But...just a question, if you don't think it's too personal: Who are you going to die with?

May's head turned red in the blink of an eye, and spontaneously hit Kalios again.
'Wether I die with you or not is none of your buisness!!!... Akh!! I hit you again!! Sorry!!'
May thus healed the bump again and sighed. While holding in a secret that involves those around her, might as well tell them so that they're aware.
'If you really want to know... You. Now don't get me wrong, you're not going to die!! I'll just be... With you, is all. And then, exactly one year later... Someone else will die. I don't know who, but it just... I was just told my story, and mine only. That little part was said to me because that person was someone close to me, the other one to die, that is.'
"Heh... You're too soft for you own good, Sora... Then again, that might me why I..."
Minae barely caught herself in time before saying anything else, and swooped around suddenly. To tell the truth, she wanted to hide her crimson red face.
At the same occasion, she took the time to wipte her tears.
"Eh, forget that! It's nothing important!! Uh, shall we go on? Oh! The sun is setting up ahead... Wait, didn't we witness the sunRISE before we left? Hm... This is probably the so said 'time drift' May spoke of..."

Kalios looked up at May. Alright, no more personal questions for you, he said, and looked at May with his fox eyes. Ready to leave? At that time, he stood up on all fours and grew in size until he was about the size of a German Shepherd. Pretty big fox with fangs if you were to ask me. In his mind it gave off just the impression he wanted.
Sora smiled sheepishly at Minae's response, and looked up, a bit shocked at the sudden change. "Yeah, we've only been here for a little more than 2 hours. Not barely enough time for the entire day to pass," he said, and looked at May, with a fox at her foot. He could easily tell that it was Kalios. "Are you two back there ready to move on?" he called out.

"Uh.. Yeah, coming..."
May slightly bent down and scratched the newly-grown fox behind the ears before starting to walk, noticing the change of daylight as well. Though now.. Time seemed to have stopped.
"She told her not to harm us... She told her. She promised..."
"Did those people ever eternally keep a promise?"
"Mina... Milady... I would like you to refrain from speaking of those women in such a manner. Do not forget... My mother is a part of them."
"I am... Pretty much careless of her. I was aiming Asarae directly. In any case... We should indeed move on... Eh, where were we heading to, again?? ^^"
As if all realising the sudden height of Minasia's stupidity, everyone sighed, such a wonderful harmony...

Sora sighed with the rest of them. "We're going..." he began, his words interrupted. His face became pale, and he stopped dead in his tracks. "I don't remember at all," he whispered, he looked at Kalios, as the fox looked up at him, shaking his head as confirmation that he forgot as well.
Kalios stopped after Sora, and felt a familiar feeling at the edge of his mind. The opening to one of the Places was here, accompanied with the consciousness of Fate herself. Alianae, he projected. Remember what Sarea said, 'Fate and Destiny must go hand in hand. Do not let either reach us until both are ready.' Alianae is not ready yet. I can feel it, he finished, and turned to the right, continuing his walk. We can't let her influence back until she has come to accord with both Rulers of Time. Which is why the day has stopped. But Alianae lives by her own timeline. If we bring her here we risk creating a rift between the two Rulers of Time. A rift that will destroy everything in the immediate vicinity.

"Everything... In quite a large diameter. The whole world could be destroyed if we're not careful. I know this because... I was told of the consequences of our lack of attention." May said, and upon seeing so many wide eyes upon her, she slightly stepped back and added "What? I said my training was rough and pointlessly informative!!"
"Thank the sky and earth for that... Without that training, we'd both be six feet underground."
"Aye..."
The two Alalaeans sighed together before realising the sudden luck they had all this time. Luck.. Or fate?
"Uh, in any case.. what do we do now? If we go any further, the time will either speed forwards or backwards. This is the point of the cycle we're in. See...
(For this part, please have a lot of imagination and imagine May and Minae in chibi format, pointing various places on a circular chart)
"When we entered the place, time already started spinning forwards."
"By the time we arrived here, we were almost at the end of this speeding."
"And when we reached our current location, time stopped because that's where we were at."
"Thus, if we use common sense, the next step should be speeding... Backwards. Which would bring us..."
"Exactly when we entered the Place of time."
Both stared at each other, realising what this was all about. The time flux here was unstable, but is was so in a way that always brought you back to when you left.
"So, if we continue walking..."
"We'll return to that 'normal' time."
"But what if we're wrong?"
May pointed at Alianae. She wasn't that far... Maybe a douzen steps away.
"She would've told us, since she CAN hear us. And besides, if we think this, it's because She wanted us to. And thus this is the course of action we should follow."
"But what IF..?"
"We die."

No, Kalios said. She can't hear us. That's the trick of Time Magick. (re-imagine the circular chart, but a line intersecting at one point of the circle.) Alianae's own timeline is the line here. We are somewhere along the circle, but not on the intersection. As is, we can't interact with that timeline until our timeline spins around to this dot. Then, we'll have a split-second to jump to her timeline. If we try to talk to her before then, the rift will occur. So we just need to keep walking until she appears in front of us. Then we have to grab onto her until we notice time running at a normal rate again, he suggested, his eyes fixed on Alianae's stationary figure.

"Dead..."
"How morbid... TO think that she had to be like this more than once in history..."
"And alone... She's always alone at times like this. Why doesn't she tell us? We could stay with her..."
"But then that rift would occur. So, let's walk. We've got to reach that dot--Er, I mean, place."
"Aye... But what if--"
"She'll be fine, Minae. She's Fate herself."
"Aye, I know, but still..."
"Come on..."
May turned around, the wind blowing in her face. but something was weird... The wind didn't seem to blow fast, or slow... Like, stuck between both.
Minae seemed to have noticed too, since she ran up to May and started whispering things to her ear.
"Hey, you two! We can't let Alianae wait too long!! COME ON!!!

"Not dead," Sora said. "But we're travelling within such a small time-frame that it's elongating the seconds, which is why she hasn't moved. She's not going to notice anything until we meet her in the normal timeline," he finished, and began contemplating the consequences of the Time Ladies. "Let's just hope that your mom loves you enough so as to not cause the rift when we exit this timeline, alright, May?"

May's smile quickly turned upside down as she remebered the brief discussion her mother had with Asarae. She had vowed to stay with her as long as May's group passed, then resume her place in the corner of May's mind.
"I'm afraid.. That she won't be able to do a thing if that happends. Only Asarae will be able to do anything about it... And, dare I say it, she'll probably just watch our bodies get torn to shread from the safety of her domain..."
"What?! But May--!!"
"There's nothing I can do. The vows where given in the Ancient Language. She can't do anything... Nor can I."
"Then we have to hurry. I can't die now."
Those words resonated in may's mind as she remebered the prophecy once more. Minae's fate.. She knew it. She simply didn't want the others to know it as well. Tears fell from may's eyes as she felt the sympathy of Kalios' mind reassure her.
"May...? Are you... Are you okay?"
"No... But we have to walk."
Ragardless of how she was feeling, May simply jolted off at a surprising pace. She wouldn't die. She wouldn't let anyone die. But more than anything... She would live to see an other day... With everyone.
"Sora... What's wrong with her...? Kalios..? Can someone tell me...?!"

Kalios bolted after May, until he was able to catch up with her. May...what are you trying to do? he asked. I'm not going to stop you. But perhaps I can help you accomplish it. He watched the ground below him blur beneath him.
"I think she's trying to make our time cycle go faster by running instead of walking. She's actually carrying us through the timeline, even though we're still in the same space," he said in response. "We should try to follow, and watch for the opening to the timeline. If just one of us grabs it, we'll drag the others along because we're all too close mentally to each other to leave the others behind."

"Oh May... Uh, Sora...?"
Before calling Sora, Minae shook her head as she recognized that reckless girl she got to know years past. After, though... It was odd, because Minae shivered uncontrolably but was as red as a tomato.
"Uh, to you mind if I... Uh, that's... If I just 'borrow' your arm for a while? I'm freezing, dressed like this..."
May, though, simply continued to run for a while, the stopped, slowly walking, THEN stopping.
"There's nothing you can do about what's said, and what's to be done... She will die because of me... And I will die because of her. Ironic, no? The protected dies for the protector..."
Then, in a sharp sob, May fell to her knees and simply cupped her hands and slammed her face in them.

"Of course," he said, after a seconds' hesitation, holding his arm out for Minasia.
Kalios looked at May for a second, and nudged her with his head. He pulled his fox head back, and it was replaced with the consolation of a human hand. Kalios had created an almost perfect recreation of his body, albeit temporary. "You can't change your destiny. So don't dwell on it. All you can do is change the most you can in your life, and hope it causes an effect on people around you. Then you'll have no regrets."

May lifted her head to see the near perfect image of Kalios, only to sob even more.
"If only... If only...!! If only you could fully be here with me... I... Miss the warmth of the only arms that took me in..."
At that precise moment, May's body gave off some sort of blue aura, which xetended itself to Kalio's imitation. As it was apparent, no one was now controling this magick, if only May's subconscious, only directing it. The aura, growing thicker and more opaque, tighened around Kalios as May opened her eyes to see what was happening.
"Of all the worlds above..."
What was happeneing, you see, was that the Blue Magick was creating a hard shell over Kalios' soul. And, from the essence extracted from plants and trees in the near area... This magick was able to create...
"Ka.. Kalios..."
No, this is in no matter bringing back the dead. Nordoing something beyond a human's reach. She simply built a body for a soul. May slowly started to acknowledge what was happening, but couldn't resist...
She simply flung herself in the newly-appeared Kalios' warm... Real arms.
((Is this going too far? I was just tired of having a soul around... ^^'))

((I'm quite glad you brought about the change, actually. And...I'm kinda falling asleep at the keyboard, so this is my last post for the night.))
Kalios tightened his arms around May. He felt the Blue Magick's tinge when the body was created. "Thank you," he silently whispered, as he felt his arms, actual flesh, created by May's subsconscious being. He then closed his eyes, blinking back tears. Real tears, and whispered a short sentence in May's ear, knowing full well the consequences which could swing either way. "I love you, May."
((And now everyone is going to think I'm some kind of pervert cause I actually made one of my characters acknowledge his feelings for a member of the opposite sex.
I think too far on this I think. But my eye's are drooped so far that they're closing by themselves, so I feel oddly justified by my actions ...zzz...
