The Magnemite gave a small cry and faultered somewhat but managed to stay up in the battle. Gathering the last of its strenght it fired off a Sonic Boom at Cargmag before falling down to the ground out for the count.
Now able to focus on the other pokemon in the room Kenny glared at the Elekid in front of it. Gathering his strenght again Kenny formed another Shadow Ball attack and sent the ball flying at the small plug once more. This time he hoped he hit the yellow pokemon.

Glad that the Ember had worked Cagomarg wasn't prepared for the attack and was suddenly fully paralyzed. It was then smashed by the Sonic Boom but the damage wasn't anything a bit of rest wouldn't fix up.
Elekid saw the attack coming and seeing his comrade was down for the count used a Quick Attack to dodge. "ELE! ELEKID!" It shouted shaking it's fist at the two invading trainers before Quick Attacking itself away through some tight spaces in between some of the machinery and other assorted junk that was lying about. Soon it was gone without a trace.
"We did it!" Linalee said jumping up in the air and then recalled her brave Cagomarg. "So shall we press on?"

Determined to show that her and her pokemon could hold up, Train looked for a way to cross the river. Finding none, she sighed. It'd be stupid to put myself and my pokemon in danger...Guess I'll just head to Johto like I wanted to in the first place. She thought.
She walked back into Cerulean, then headed down the path towards Saffron City.

Giovanni was nearing his demand for another attack when there was a loud explosion, followed by a blaring alarm. Smoke billowed out of the direction of the lab. "What in the world is going on!?" he roared. He turned his head to his Tyranitar, who had taken the Solarbeam directly. "Return, Tyranitar!" The leader then placed two fingers in his mouth and whistled, quite loudly. Immediately, two Rocket Grunts ran out into the Gym. "Sorry, Jenni. I must fold," he regretted, "We will redeal the cards soon!"
He jumped back, recalled his Pokemon and disappeared behind the smoke right as the two Grunts were taking Jenni, by her arms, to the Gym's exit.

Train looked around Saffron, then down at her Pikachu, who was sniffing a rock. It had gotten stronger...maybe she should train her Ratata, then return to Pewter. Yes, that was what to do. It was time to return to Pewter City.
With that thought, she turned and ran back to Cerulean, and back to Mt.Moon. She headed into the dark cave. she remembered how she'd gotten through, now she just had to go backwards.

"Good job Kenny." Dante said as he walked over to the floating ghost pokemon. Kenny just circled around him happily before putting himself back into his pokeball. "All right lets go into the next room. This one isn't to entertaining." That being said Dante went into the next room. The decorations in this one seemed just as bland as the one before it. It also seemed to be the last room in the small Power Plant. Sighing he walked into, he was fairly disappointed, he had been sure that Zapdos would be here.
"SCCCRREEEEAAAACCCCCHHHH!"
 Wild Zapdos appeared!
A bit shocked at the sudden appearance Dante took a few steps back his dark eyes wide at the sight. Zapdos was flapping his powerful wings sparks flying everywhere as it landed on the ground. The powerful bird cocked his head to the side and locked one black eye on the dark clad figure of Dante. Ruffling its wings it made a few more screeches.
Meowth who was on Dante's shoulder stared up at the powerful pokemon wide eyed. Leaning to Dante's ear he whispered in it, translating what it said. "It says that it wants to know why you are here."
Bitting his bottom lip for a second Dante steeled himself for this. Taking a deep breath he calmed himself down and took a step forward. "Mighty Zapdos, my name is Dante. I came here because I am doing research on Legendary Pokemon. I have come here not to fight you but to just talk to you."

Moments later, Kasiya and the rather attractive juggler were opposite each other outside, ready to begin. Kasiya had learned during the short trip outside that they juggler's name was actually Jonathan, although the girl could not for the life of her figure out what a juggler was doing in a gym filled with ninjas.
"Two on two sound good to you?" Jonathan asked, single-handedly juggling two red and white spheres, also rather effortlessly.
"That sounds great," Kasiya grinned, spinning her Pokeball on the tip of her finger and catching it. But I'm only going to need one. A near dark smirk spread across her lips as she let it fly, and her large and faithful Arcanine stood proudly before her, howling up at the sky. "This ought to make up for missing out on all the fun yesterday," she told Hiro fondly, who nodded and wagged his bushy tail eagerly. After playing carrier all day yesterday, he was ready for a good battle.
"Hmm, Arcanine, huh? Well then, I choose Weezing!" With a flick of an outlandishly decorated wrist, Jonathan's Pokemon appeared - a round Pokemon with two faces, and many pores protruding from its purple skin. From each pore a deep green haze spouted forth. "Start off with your Sludge attack, Weezing!"
"Hiro, dodge it!" Kasiya ordered sharply. Hiro narrowed his eyes and barked sharply, before moving forward. The sludge splattered harmlessly on the ground as the orange and black blur that was Hiro tore across the ground at a blinding speed, jumping up and pounding down with his enormous front paws before retreating and landing safely back at his starting position. Kasiya blinked in amazement, not really sure what had just happened.

"Huh?" M.A. whipped sleepily around, first looking confusedly at Ky then following his gaze. To her surprise, the Phanpy was following her like a little kitten, entirely docile now that it was tired out. "Why, hello there!" she greeted with a genuine smile, despite her fatigue; the Long Nose Pokemon was so cute, even as battered up as it was. "What are you doing here?"
The Phanpy didn't reply. Rather, it just simply stared right back at M.A., its small eyes glistening, imploring. M.A. felt herself warm up to the Pokemon, even if it had caused some trouble for her and Daemyn just a while ago. Daemyn, on the other hand, only growled menacingly at their quiet "stalker," not one to easily let go of grudges.
"Huh, d'you think so, Ky? Maybe she's just tired or hungry. . ."
At that last bit, the Phanpy nodded, her blue-hued trunk nudging the girl -- although the action had been friendly, M.A. was nearly bowled over by the little one's strength. She's like a tank, she thought, grinning sheepishly. One that's totally unaware of her own strength.
Once they slipped through the familiar PokeCenter's glass sliding doors, they were quickly advised by a nearby Chancey to keep hush, as trainers were sleeping already. So, soundlessly, M.A. walked to the counter and entrusted Daemyn and Ulani to Nurse Joy, deciding to feed the ravenous Phanpy herself.
"Oh! That fellow over there requested to meet you in the morning, or something along those lines," the pink-haired woman whispered, gesturing to a young man snoozing on the couch (or at least seeming to). Kilik? That torrent of questions regarding him roared up again in M.A.'s head, but as she briefly watched him sleep, any of her doubts in him quelled for the time being. He looked so peaceful in his sleep, so calm, even if his lips were pursed in a slight frown. Nothing like that . . . would you call it bitterness? harshness? she had seen when he fought the Rocket admin. Tip-toeing over to him, she curiously gazed at his face for just a second before, with a rush of motherly concern, grabbing a blanket nearby and flicking it into the air to unfold it, carefully letting it fall over him without any disturbance. No need for him to catch a cold, right?
Then, after pouring a bowl of her own homemade Pokefood for the Phanpy, she bid Ky good-night and trudged to bed.
The Phanpy watched her leave, intrigued. M.A. had appeared when the battle began. So, in its minds, it made that connection: M.A. --> battles. The Long Nose Pokemon rather liked battles -- and this food, too.

Kilik's lip twitched lightly, then he turned over in his sleep. His hand fell from beneath the blanket, his fingertips grazing the Center's tile floor.
A million thoughts raced through his mind as he slept. What if he hadn't bothered with Giovanni? No, he had been threatened at gunpoint and did what any rational trainer would have done. It was the right decision, wasn't it? A gunshot echoed in his head, and the boy let out a light whimper in his sleep.
It's a deal. No backing out now.
That voice kept echoing with the gunshot. Giovanni's voice seemed to remind him over and over that he couldn't quit now. No matter what the circumstances, he was now tied into this whole ordeal. Another whine came from him and Kilik turned in his sleep, burying his face into the crimson pillow. Underneath the sheet, his fist clenched around a clump of the cloth.

"Hiro, what was that?" Kasiya asked curiously, although she knew the Arcanine wouldn't have anything but a loud bark to reply with. The Fire-type's ears twitched excitedly; he was just getting started. He watched the floating Poison-type anxiously, awaiting its next move.
Jonathan frowned at the display. He hadn't expected this Arcanine to be of a high-enough experience level to know Extremespeed. It didn't matter though, as the young man chose to deploy a different strategy. "All right Weezing! Smokescreen, now!" That overgrown pup can't hit Weezing if he can't see it...
Hiro took a step back as a thick blanket of black smoke spread out ominously across the battlefield and he growled, obviously annoyed that he'd lost sight of his opponent. This setback caused Kasiya to hesitate, and from out of the cloud of smoke flew Weezing, bashing into Hiro's shoulder with a surprise Tackle. Snarling, Hiro lunged for his attacker, but only got a mouthful of smoke. Choking and growling, the Arcanine flicked his bushy tail in annoyance.
Kasiya paused again, not sure what to do. She'd been in this situation before, hadn't she? If one's eyes failed them, then they needed to rely on their other senses. "Hiro! Keep low and use your Odor Sleuth!" the girl cried excitedly. Hiro nodded, thankful that his mistress had devised a solution, and he lowered his head, using his sensitive nose to scope out the unpleasantly aromatic Poison Gas Pokemon.

"What in the devil's name is happening down here?!" he roared, waving some of the smoke away. Giovanni turned to see a few scientists sprawled on the ground, unconsious. He heard a loud roar of anger come from further in the room. The man ran down the hall, almost skidding to his stop. "DRAMON! I demand to know what happened!"
"I smashed the console!" he growled, "Seeing those files on Kilik made me so angry!" The Admin turned sharply to look at Giovanni with piercing eyes. Although Dramon was big and scary, his eyes were not nearly as cold as Giovanni's.
"SO you thought it a good idea to DESTROY MY PROPERTY!?" Giovanni took a step forward, watching Dramon cringe in fear, "What is the matter with that empty head of yours! You will pay me every blasted DIME for the destroyed console!" The man grabbed his Admin by the beard, pulling him down to his level. Once again, he stared as if looking right into the other's soul. "And what's...this...about...Kilik?" he hissed.
Dramon whimpered, closing his eyes tightly. "I battled him in Azelea. A buncha commotion!" the man opened them back up slowly, "He challenged my authority and yours too, Sir!"
"Kilik's challenge over my authority is no concern of mine," he pushed Dramon away (though he didn't go very far) and turned his back, "He's not part of Team Rocket anymore; only an Ally against Maorde Menskr. Clean up this mess, Dramon." He walked away, looking down at some of the 'sleeping' scientists.

Hiro moved swiftly, yet silently, keeping his nose low to the ground. Despite the smoke wafting overhead, he could still detect the location of Weezing, especially when it came towards him once more, trying for another surprise Tackle. Hiro ducked, feeling the rush of air rustling the fur atop his head and he knew the attack had just barely missed, and the next time Weezing attacked, he would retaliate. The Arcanine crouched, lying in wait and continued to allow his keen nose to guide him. All at once he caught the pungent scent of Weezing, growing stronger with each second.
Kasiya watched from outside the smokescreen rather nervously, not quite knowing what to expect. "If you can, use your Flamethrower!" she called, not feeling very secure when her six-foot-tall-at-the-shoulder companion could not be seen. Quite suddenly, a blaze of fire shot out of the cloud of smoke, and along with it rocketed Weezing, crying out in a mixture of pain and surprise. The spot where Hiro had loosed the blast of flames was now completely clear of smoke, more of it slowly dissipating as he threw back his head and roared loudly, as if to let Weezing know he was in charge now.

The large powerful bird just listened to him for a moment standing there in silence. Even though he wasn't really doing anything sparks still came from the powerful Legendary. Finally the bird shifted on his feet a bit and lowered his head so that he was closer to Dante. It made a few clicking sounds and his long beak nudged a bit at the long feather on his neck.
"He is asking you about the feather." Meowth hissed at him.
Looking down at the Ho-oh feather around his neck Dante stared at it for a moment. Most of the time he forgot he was wearing it. "This? I got this in Johto from the Legendary Phoenix Ho-oh." He explained not quite knowing what was going on.
Upon hearing this Zapdos's head shot up in surprise. It stared at him before it started to squack angrily at him. Helplessly Dante looked over at Meowth who was doing his best to figure it out as well. "He says that what you say is impossible. Ho-oh never gives out his feathers. You must have stolen it." The cat said with a small frown. Sensing danger Meowth jumped off of Dante's shoulder and onto the ground nearby.
"Stolen it? If I did I did not do it on purpose. I found it on the ground. When I picked it up Ho-oh grabbed my hair. I was forced to cut it off and leave it with the Ho-oh." He said hoping that his story would somehow appease the Legendary Bird.
Apperently something he said did because Zapdos settled down some. Not taking his black eyes off of Dante it clicked its beak some and made a few softer sounds. "It says that it understands now. You and the life giver?" Meowth paused at that before going on. "That you and the Life Giver, made an exchange."

Figuring that the 'Life Giver' was Ho-oh Dante thought about that. If Kenny's cutting off of his hair was for the exchange for the feather he could live with that. Bowing his head slightly towards Zapdos Dante smiled slightly at the bird. "Thank you for telling me that. May I ask why Ho-oh wished to even make an exchange with me?"
The bird eyed him for a moment before it started talking again. Of course Dante wouldn't have ever understood with out Meowth's help. "You may ask. I do not know the answer though. Perhaps the Life Giver saw something in you. The Life Giver does not give sacred feathers to just anyone. I must see what he wanted." When Meowth finished translating the bird walked over to Dante his large claws scrapping on the floor as it walked. Even more electricity seemed to run through the air as the Legendary bird moved. Before Dante could do anything the bird pokemon thrust its beak forward so that it was touching the feather. As soon as it touched the bird pokemon called on the ability that made it Legendary to allow it to do what it wanted to do.
Unfortunately that also involved a huge amount of electricity to course through it. Going through its beak, and transferring over to the feather and up the necklace to Dante. When the electricity hit him Dante didn't even have the chance to even react before falling over. Seeing this the bird pokemon backed away some and watched the boy lying on the ground. Dante's clothes were smoking, and completely ruined by the way. His once lovely auburn hair had turned black, he all ready pale skin now looked almost bleached. Meowth upon seeing this drew in a big breath not quite believing what he was seeing. He had never actually thought Dante was going to get hurt. And this looked bad; his trainer wasn't getting up or making any sounds.

Hmm, if that is your wish Life Giver then I shall so do. Zapdos said as he lowered his beak again, only this time to Dante's left hand that was laying at his side. A small bit of power was used to form a small orb, about the size of a large marble, which appeared in Dante's hand. The small orb was yellow and seemed to hold a piece of trapped electricity. I am have things to do. I will be off. But I will be watching. Was all the electric pokemon said before it flapped its wings and took off electricity crackling all around it.
Seeing the Legendary Bird leave Meowth seemed to be able move again and dashed over to where Dante was laying. Careful not to jostle his hurt trainer he tried his best to see if Dante was still alive. Panicking the cat tried to feel for a pulse but couldn't figure out where on the neck he should feel. After a moment he put a finger under Dante's nose and was slightly relieved that he felt a slight bit of air slip out of his nose. Relieved Meowth sat down on the ground and looked at his trainer for a moment just now noticing things he hadn't noticed when he had been panicking. Dante's had blood flowing from his nose, mouth, ears and a bit from his eyes. He was also twitching slightly because of the residue electricity. Realizing that all was not in the clear yet Meowth got up again and started to ruffle through Dante's bag looking for a certain Safari Ball.
-----------
It was very dark where he was, well, it wasn't exactly dark, that was the only word he could use to describe where he was. There was simply nothing where he was. He didn't even have a body, he was just there. While this would have spooked most people Dante found it strangely relaxing. His mind was free to rest or think of anything that it wanted to. There was simply nothing and it was relaxing on the tired boys nerves.
You would like it here. A voice suddenly came from no where.
