Ruby looked up at Eric, "Hey! Grease-monkey, music please! It's a party, we need tunes!" The one beer was doing its job rather well, Ruby's cheeks turning pink as her sensitivity to alcohol became more and more apparent. "Where's the damn angel!? He's missin' out on the fun." She yelled out as her mind briefly forgot that they had 'broken up.'

Hattie stood up and walked over to Ruby, chuckling. "Rubbles, you can't hold your beer very well, can you?" Hattie herself could hold hers like a Sailor. She had a black belt in holding her drinks.

She shrugged, "haven't seen you since then, an' so you know, you should never go human-like again....I thought you were scary green, but I was wrong, you're down right perty in comparison." She grinned, enjoying her teasing. "An' the angel an' I broke up, if you didn't hear the news." "You what!?!"

Alloran, without turning to her, held his hand up, a tiny flame on the end of his fingers. He flicked it in front of Hattie, a burst of flame shooting up, not burning anything, but more for shock value.

"He was cheatin' on me with the seer, an' he's far too much of a prude for me, an' he never wants to do anythin' fun anymore, an' he doesn't take me to any parties, an' he never has time for me, an' he never takes me out, an he never notices when I've done my hair or get a new outfit, an' he never dances with me, an' he says I'm ugly, an he says I'm annoyin', an he says I'm stupid." Ruby dissolved into tears, too drunk to realize she was probably overdoing it just a tad.
