Kimino laughed "We all have something to lose Hikari!" he balanced his fighting stick lightly on his finger "our lives!" he cryed as the blade shot off at her neck

Hikari blocked the attack with ease using her scythe. "You call that an attack" She started glowing then a large blast came out of her smashing into kimino

Kimino appeared behind Hikari and tutted "Thats not an attack THIS is an attack" he said as his hand thrust out light exploding from it almost smashing into Seph but it swerved and hit Hikari.

Hikari laughed "I hope that wasn't suppost to hurt me. I've gotten a lot stronger recently. I would prefer not to hurt you but your not giving me much of a choice" She cast something upon herself causing her to glow a light blue colour "As long as i'm glowing any pain i feel from your attacks you will also feel, perhaps it will be more painful. it depends on your own endurence"

Kimino grinned "So you've been studying? Well I can't say I'm not impressed but you forget that I have more power than you and in the test of endurance the pain you feel will destroy you before me so why don't you just fly on home" he smiled

"It's not about the power you have, it's how you use it. And have you actually tried attacking yourself? Even if it did get me first it's nothing a small healing spell can't do." Hikari was full of confidence. Meanwhile in the back ground stood a rather annoyed Seph "I really hate to interupt you little reunion but will one of you please explain what the hell is going on?!" She butted in

Kimino turned to Seph then back to Hikari. Kimino sighed "She you always were too robust Hikari you never quite got the term 'secret' did you?" he turned back to Seph considered telling her then said "Well you've came this far you might as well tell her about the clan Hikari" he said turning away

Hikari gazed over to the rest of the party "well you see........ we're kinda part of a clan, which formed several hundred years ago. The clan covers various activities and is split into sections. The job i was assigned to is to deliver messages. But in this case it was to spy on you. Kimino on the other hand is a different story"

Kimino frowned "The clan is mostly demons but they found out my talents could help them and they adopted me as a child when my village was ransacked" he smiled as a ball of light formed in his hand "Our clan is a group of demons established to combat darkness. Right now I'm supposed to watch you as we believe this group is the greatest chance of destroying the dark portal." He glanced back at camp "Actually we are like opposite of Alex's group in fact I should probably assasinate him or at least interrogate him"

"Feel free to do so" Seph joked but quickly got serious "how does this fit in with what happened when i first came here" Hikari rolled her eyes "Isn't it obvious. We were aware of who sent you to the abyss and i was sent in to spy on you. Get the feeling of dejavu yet?"

Kimino sighed "Hikari was an understudy of mine but she has become very powerful not powerful enough...but powerful" he said. Itaka stood silently by Felina apparently unnoticed "hmm we should just focus on getting there then we can destroy each other after we're finished" he muttered
