"How'd you do it tho? If it's not that big of a deal then why are you hesitating to tell me? I just wanna know how you hurt yourself. Is it a crime for a friend to ask a friend how she got an injury?"

Ryu sighs again "Fine.. you dont have to tell me but I am worried. When you're ready to talk about it then I will listen.." She turns her back on Kai and walks back to her desk. She rested her chin in her hands and stared out into the morning sky just like she did on her first day back from her long break.

It was only a week ago, but it felt like a year. She tried not to feel so down about Kai's silence. She also tried not to let her imagination get carried away with her. She tended to think of the worst senerios. She hated it.

Ryu glanced at Kai and then glanced back outside. She wanted so much to show Kai that she was worried and she wanted to know what had happened to her arm. She didn't understand why Kai had to keep it from her..

The bell rang for class to begin.

Ryu turned in her chair to look at Kai wide eyed. She couldn't leave her there by herself. She got her stuff and moved to an empty seat that was right next to Kai.

Mr. Cox started "Ryu what do yo--" Ryu snaped at him "Im not moving anywhere. Im staying right here." There was an akward silence as the people stared at Ryu this time. "Ok.." Mr. Cox replied. He turned and began to sort out his papers for class. Everone turned back around to do the same. Ryu just sat there. She didn't even get out her book when class began fully. She just sat there with a pen and a peice of paper and began to doodle, like she used to do before her long break.

Ryu looked at her finished work. She liked it but couldn't congradulate herself like she usualy does. It was a drawing of Kai. She was kneeling down. Her eyes were hidden and there was blood flowing down her back. From where the blood flowed, Kai had two huge, strong, beautiful wings. Strangely, there was a smile on her face.

Ryu placed it on Kai's desk. She burried her face into her arms afterward, so that she was left in darkness so that she could drift back to sleep and dream of her imagined lover. And she did. She fell asleep and began to dream.

Ryu moved her arm in her sleep. She was drooling a bit from the corner of her mouth. In her dream she was walking up to the girl, her love. She was tired of just looking, admiring her from a distance. She walked up slowly behind the girl.. the vines woven around her fair skin.. the tree glowing softly in the shade of the many trees around them. Ryu touched her shoulder. Startled the girl turned to face Ryu. Ryu looked deep into her eyes. They were green with golden sploches and her face.. was undescribingly beautiful. The girl smiled and began to say something but no words came out of her lips. Ryu just barely made out what she had said then suddenly flames engulfed them both. Ryu found her self on the ground. She didn't know how but she sat up. The girl was a few feet away, it was as if Ryu had been knocked back by something. The girl was .. being roasted alive.. her skin melted, her wings were of flames.. Ryu tried to scream.

Suddenly Ryu found herself awake. "LUNA!!!" She screamed loudly and fell out of her seat. She sat there gasping, trying to realize what just happened. She sat there for a long while not knowing where she was, she didn't really bother to look up from the floor either.

"What the ********..?" Is all that she could say as tears flowed down her cheeks. There was a long silence. She looked up at Kai tears still falling down her cheeks. "Im ok.." She tries to get up.
