Uchiiha... Kiyoshi did something that no other Takani should be able to do. holing up a finger, a small thorn sprouted from the tip, and Kiyoshi ran it along the child's skull, in a complicated, intricate pattern that the other ninja might recognize as the entire cardiovascular system of the brain. Suddenly, his finger stopped, just a few centimeters away from the child's temple. "There we have it. An infinitesimally small hemorrhage. Not enough on its own... But more than enough with everything else." Kiyoshi smiled softly. "There are things about everyone's clan that no one should know." The Takani clan had hundreds of them. Kiyoshi's hand glowed softly, as the needle retracted, and Kiyoshi placed his finger directly on the spot that he had stopped at. Kiyoshi almost felt the tiny wound heal and the pressure release as Kiyoshi used a thorn to pierce the child's skin just barely, and the blood was drawn out by the hungry flower. And then Kiyoshi's finger touched the skin again, and it was healed. "The bleeding was creating too much pressure... the location was less than hospitable for the blood. I couldn't sense any more injuries... But we shall have to wait until he awakes to know exactly how much he was injured..."
Shosen Jutsu By concentrating chakra to the hand, the user is able to cure wounds by focusing their own chakra to where the critical injuries lie, healing them in the process. This jutsu, however, uses up a high amount of chakra. This may also be utilized as the Chakra Enjintou and Chakra no Mesu, or the chakra scalpel for that matter - in order to sever the opponent's muscle fibers at the point of contact. Cp cost: 60 + 10 per 20 Hp healed Damage: N/A *Combat scalpel: Same as common taijutsu damage but adds chakra modifier instead of str modifier. Affected victim must roll a reflex save (DC: your attack roll) to avoid inner bleeding, should the inner bleeding check fail the victim shall lose 3 Hp per round per time hit. Also depending on the area you are hit you might receive extra penalties. Such as -10 attack roll and damage for arm and leg wounds. Requirements: Treat Injury 50 ranks, Chakra Control 70 Training days: 15 days. Special: If used as a combat Scalpel, user must beat defendants’ Dodge Bonus by at least 10 points to cut muscle fibers in area hit. Defender cannot use affected area until healed or for 10 turns.

Yuumei nodded. "I don't wish to inconvenience Iwa though. As soon as it's safe, I would prefer to head back to Oto village. " If an S-ranked criminal truly was involved...she did not want to involve a foreign village in unnecessary troubles. "Oh!" The boy in the patient bed groaned and stirred weakly. Overjoyed, she rushed to the boy's bedside.
"Akeru!"
His eyes slowly opened...stunning coloured eyes. At first a warm amber-red, but when the boy shifted his head, his eyes would shift colours...into more of an amethyst under the warm lighting of the hospital. But...the expression that met Yuumei...was totally blank...
"Who..." He whispered, weak from the loss of blood. "Who...are you?"
This woman...why does she have an expression like that...
Yuumei looked taken aback, hurt by his words.

Kiyoshi watched, taking a few steps back to be polite. He had already measured stimulus to the eye by the simple act of the child opening them, and saw no need to further examine the body. It was possible that this amnesia was only temporary... But Kiyoshi was watching the woman now... If she had been lying.... Nikolai seemed to trust them... But you could never be entirely sure. His face was calm, serene. He smiled still, happy that the boy was at least alive.

"Akeru..."
"Ake-ru...? Who's that..." Whispered the Uchiha child, hollowly echoing the Sannin's words. Struggling, he sat up. "Why...am I here...where is this place..."
"Don't push yourself!" Yuumei took the child gently into her arms again. "Akeru, you idiot, you always do...that's why things happen..."
Confusion in those amethyst orbs. "B-but...my name isn't Akeru...I'm...I'm..." He couldn't remember his name. "It's..."
"What do you remember?" She asked the child gently.
"Leaves...a forest...a...village made of wood..." Replied the child.
Konoha.
But the child suddenly started shaking, clutching his head, his eyes wild. "And blood...lots of blood...there's blood on the floor...red eyes, spinning...spinning...and the sky crimson...with fire..."
Amnesia? That memory was etched in by the Mangkeryou. So even if this child loses all his memories...does that mean he'll always remember it?

Kiyoshi calmed down, pushing his thoughts aside. The concern there was real, and that's all that mattered to a doctor. She would give them their privacy. They seemed to need it. He turned and stepped through the door silently, waiting just outside and to the right. Nikolai is getting stronger.... To resist blood like that child's.... It's very impressive.

She held the child closer.
"We're in Iwa, it's ok... There isn't trees or the blood here. Just a dream, Akeru..."
"Reimei." The child quietly corrected.
Yuumei looked surprised, ruby eyes blinking. "What?"
"My name...Sento Reimei..."
Cripes. Don't tell her...
Self-induced amnesia...initialized partly subconsciously but also finalized by the blow to his head. This type could be made permanent if the boy wished for it... Though...to be honest...she didn't mind... If this child could start clean...he doesn't have to worry about his sad past and start anew...
Yuumei looked uncomfortable, casting her gaze down. This...this... This would be an act of betrayal - to Oto, Lady Saiya, and Konoha... However...if this child's happiness is at stake.
She hung her head, allowing long mocca-coloured bangs to hide her face. "That's right..." She whispered. "Reimei. Sento Reimei. Don't worry...that bloody dream was connected with Akeru..." She gently touched the child's forehead but made no eye contact...if she does, her resolve would crumble.
"...but Akeru doesn't exist. So it's ok."
---
They would talk and after half an hour, Yuumei quickly realized...just the extent of his amnesia. All memories - of Oto and Konoha, were gone. Not even the memory of his kidnappers remained. All Akeru, or rather Reimei now, knew...was that single memory that the Mangkeryou had imprinted.
She had done a fairly good job calming the child, that she was she...assuring him it was only a bad dream...
And then leaving the child to rest, she went outside, grim-faced.
She needs to talk to that doctor.

Waiting just outside the door, Kiyoshi looked to her "Yes?" Their business was their business. Kiyoshi wasn't going to ask this woman, who knew exactly what was going on, to tell him anything. "What did you need?" Because God knows they're going to need help. They're obviously not going back to wherever they came from. He could see that much in her eyes.

"He..." Her eyes grew heavy, Yuumei was that upset. She shook her head. "There is..." But the right words won't come. Not after that...that lie to an innocent child. "I...would need to file in papers." She said finally, her voice quiet. So they were staying as refugees... From the very reason the Odoriko Sannin, by telling Kiyoshi this...she was requesting the doctor for medical papers.
"I would like to ask...if Takani-san could possibly exclude the Sharingan and all mentions of the Uchiha name in his records." Simple records, true. But they could doom Akeru as a pawn to the Iwa Council if they knew...especially now, when he was most vulnerable. But they had nowhere else to go. She hit her face. "Reimei...Sento Reimei. Like he always wished...at least here he'll be able to live peacefully..." It was as if she was trying to convince herself that that lie was ok...

Kiyoshi had his papers secreted underneath his kimono. He had never made a mention to a name or to anything other than the strict medical requirements. He scrawled the name and fabricated information as if he did it every day. "Under a few conditions. One: You bring him back to me for all of his treatment in this hospital, and only if I am unavailable do you take him to someone else. Two: You tell no one that this demon is inside me, and three: someone simply must teach the kid how to fall off a cliff before he jumps off the next one." He finished with a smile. His voice was oddly feminine... As was his handwriting... It was a wonderful calligraphy... This handwriting was almost too good to be a doctor's... It was the handwriting you might ask of a queen, or a royal scribe.... Kiyoshi held the papers out to Yuumei.

Yuumei rubbed at her eyes, which was tearing up. Not from the lack of sleep...but because... "A-arigatou..." She whispered, and bowed to the doctor. Kiyoshi-san was so kind...Akeru would be in good hands. A fair trade it was - Akeru's secret in return for keeping Kiyoshi-san and that other person's. But a weak smile at the memory of the cliff... Yuumei hoped that Akeru would never, ever have to do something like that again. "Arigatou...I shall gladly accept the conditions."
She took the papers gratefully. She could do her own later, but taking care of the child's documentation takes priority. Oh... Because Yuumei herself was a calligraphy expert...this was really good work. A deft hand, elegant with grace...it would rival the samples she had seen produced by the noble blood families of various villages.

Kiyoko had secrets of her own... But the only person in the village who knew those she wasn't able to speak to... Nikolai was here only to monitor her... But then he was Kiyoshi again, and the feminine look of sadness disappeared, replaced by Kiyoshi's signature grin. "Have you given any thought as to where you shall be staying?" Kiyoshi was as good as making an offer. The last time he had been into his own home was weeks ago... In fact, he thought it had been over a month. Hm. Lost in the job, I suppose... Or just reluctant to be alone.

Yuumei looked surprised. She hadn't given a thought to it, actually... As a Sannin of Oto, she was used to living in makeshift tents, or, occasionally in small inns or motels. But generally...there hadn't been one place where she would stay. Briefly in Oto, the Kage had offered her residence. But...she can't return there now... "I...I..." She looked a bit uncertain. "I suppose the refugee house for now. I suppose...if I offer my services to Iwa...I might be able to earn enough for a small apartment." How modest. In Iwa, medic-nins of her caliber would actually be valued greatly. But Yuumei had no chance of knowing the medical advancement of this village. Well...she had some sort of glimpse into it, in the glaring different between Konoha and Oto's medical proficiency. But Yuumei was actually more of referring to running minor missions and doing what she can to earn and save up money.

Kiyoshi shook his head, giggling softly. "No, no. I would never allow it. I will house you. The house practically runs itself." Kiyoshi's smile softened. "It will make the transition much easier. For both of you... If you feel like you belong somewhere, instead of feeling like you're stuck here in the transitional phase."

Yuumei looked surprised and found it hard to find the right words. "I..." Ruby eyes softened. "Kiyoshi-san is too kind." And she inclined her head again. "We are indebted to you." It was true...thanks to the Takani medic, Akeru could live in Iwa safely, without fear of recognition for his limit. A place also where...the boy would not be pushed by clan values or expectations...but could honestly follow his own pace.
"Ah..." Remembering something very important... "Kiyoshi-san? I was wondering how would it work to obtain Geninship here..." Her gaze casted back, to the door leading to the room where Akeru would not be sleeping, and her expression saddened. "Even back in Oto...he's still an Academy Student. ...I'm...not sure if he could attend..." Of course, there were multiple problems, even once Yuumei manages to get the documents through. What if...he also forgot all of the shinobi skills he thus far learned?
How twisted fate is. For the young prodigy...

Kiyoshi smiled again. "I think we can work everything out..." As Princess heir to the throne, excluding her sister, she was more than allowed to speak for her clan. "So long as you are in this city, you are under the protection of the Takani Clan." Her words were without hesitation. As Kiyoshi held out two rings, each one a color of purple, with the kanji for 'death' written underneath the smooth stone, it would become obvious that Kiyoshi was much more than a humble member of his clan. With the absolute assurance behind her words, Kiyoko was stating that these two were as close to being in the Family as they could be without being Planted. Although, if it came to it, Kiyoko would not deny them that. Kiyoshi was just smiling, holding those two rings out. "Our name is a bit morbid, but these rings will tell any member of our family that you are to be protected. You don't have to wear them, not at all, but should you choose to, you may." Kiyoshi was intentionally leaving out the fact that each of these rings contained a safeguard... These rings each contained a seed of the Takani locked securely away inside. But unless they were looking for them, very, very hard, they would not notice.
