Jerome took Sol's hand in his own, wrapping his fingers around Sol's slender digits, "Find something that makes you happy Sol, you need more than empty amusement. Find something that can take you away from whatever it is that is shadowing you, even if it's only for a short while." His hand, which at first was almost burning hot quickly become very cool, almost cold to the touch as his body temperature dropped rapidly. Anguish filled his eyes, turning them a deep stormy blue and when he spoke, it was a voice filled with a deep pain no one so young should know exists let alone feel. "I had that. Even now I am seeking to find it again." "And I hope you do, child." Jerome squeezed his hand gently, his thumb brushing across Sol's knuckles before letting it go gently, "Now, come have some tea and you'll feel better." "Thanks you pr...Jerome." Feeling a strange warmth at the preists words and his gentle touch, Sol gave him a small, grateful smile and, going on pure instinct, started to purr softly, sounding like a kitten as he followed the human to go get some tea.

Walking next to Sol, Jerome could hear the faint purr. "How do you manage to do that?" He asked, genuinly curious.

He wondered what the blush was for, but left it alone, knowing that if he were to bring it up it would only make Sol more pink. "It's something demons can do. Well most of the ones I have met can do it. It usually happens when we're feeling good." The words came tumbling out in a rush as Sol hurried to explain. He caught himself after a moment, wondering why he was in such a hurry to explain and why he was blushing. That made him blush more and he just shook his head and regained control of himself. "What kind of tea do you have here?"

He caught himself after a moment, wondering why he was in such a hurry to explain and why he was blushing. That made him blush more and he just shook his head and regained control of himself. "What kind of tea do you have here?" Jerome nodded in half-understanding as they reached the kitchen. "Well, let's have a look," he replied, opening a cupboard to reveal a series of tins containing what copuld only be loose-leaf teas.

Mie-tanuki Ceres_3LD LQ Ceres_3LD Aki sighed, sorry he had made Rio angry. He went to the front of the monastery and found a way of getting up without destroying the walls of the building. "Hey, I-I'm sorry... I mean... I probably shouldn't have... Well... Yeah..." He kept his distance from the incubus and sat down quietly, waiting for.... something. "By the seven, Kitsune, you are truly devoid of any semblance of intelligance." Rio snarled, voice dripping with scorn and disdain. "Killing you would not be worth the effort." His wings snapped out and he leapt off the roof, plummeting to the ground before catching a current and rising, finding the tallest tree and perching there. Aki sighed. "Ok, so I can be a little naive once in awhile. I'm not stupid..." He called out after Rio and jumped from the rooftop. He kicked a stone lazily as he wandered the front of the monastery, slowly making his way towards the forest. "Hm? Oh, nothing really. Rio is angry with me now." He smiled and shrugged. "Kind of a lazy day, isn't it?"

Once he was satisfied with the mixture, he turned once again to Jerome, eager anticipation in his eyes. "Would you be so kind as to aquire me a teapot?"

XanatosGray "There's one over the fire...the water should be boiling by now." He looked at the cup curiously, wondering why he mixed the teas. He was, however, pleased to see the eagerness in his eyes, rather than the dull boredom that seemed to constantly occupy them. Walking over, Sol picked up the scalding pot with his bare hand and carried it over to the tea cup. Putting half the leaves from his cup into another one, he poured the boiling water over them, a surpisingly delicious smell rising from the mixed blend as he put the pot back over the fire. One cup was placed in front of jerome while Sol placed the other one in front of himself, once again inhaling the scent of the steeping tea, his eyes glowing, the internal light making them sparkle like the finest of cut sapphires.
