As Charity was about to respond, a modest smile on her mouth, she noticed his expression and jumped to her feet, hurrying to the other. "Are you okay?" she asked, slightly alarmed. "Are you hurt?" The girl's eyes were wide with fear as she looked him up and down. "What happened?"

Brynjar chuckled, waving his hands dismissively. "It's okay, Charity. I have a slight problem," he spoke, limping away from the table badly. After a few steps, his limping returned to it's normal state. He looked over his shoulder, gesturing for her to follow him.

The girl shuffled after him, her arms swaying as she did so. "What is the problem, though?" she pouted once she was beside the other. "It's so sad if you're in pain."

"I have a permanent hip problem," Brynjar explained with a pout. "No amount of Merry Magic has ever been able to fix it." He glanced towards the many bright lights of the arcade games, smiling.

"Merry Magic~" the girl exclaimed excitedly. "Is that special Christmas powers?" Charity grabbed his hand, giving it a slight squeeze as she looked in the direction of the bright lights as well. "Are you playing more games?"

"Christmas magic indeed~ Would you like to play more games, Charity?" he asked with a bright smile, squeezing her hand lightly in return.

"Actually, I would feel a little bad able having somebody pay for me for more stuff," she replied. "But if you want to play some more, I'll watch you and cheer you on!" Charity turned her gaze from the lights and to the other, smiling happily. "What do you say~?"

"I'm alright with that, but only if you play a few more games with me first," Brynjar insisted, tapping the girl's nose with a slender finger.

Charity crossed her eyes, trying to focus on the other's finger. "Are you sure about that?" the girl asked, looking to him and making a silly face before allowing her eyes to relax. "I really don't mind just watching you!"

"More than sure, dear," Brynjar exclaimed, taking her to a game that was similar to Whack a Mole. He put some coins in, looking to her with a smile. "Let's play!"

The girl quickly took the club-looking device into her hands, examining it for a few moments before looking to the machine. "We just hit the things that pop up, right?" Charity asked. "This is a little familiar... kinda."

"Yes, just hit the things that pop up," Brynjar exclaimed, rather squealing as the little puppets popped up and disappeared back into their holes. He started whacking the machine like crazy, laughing gleefully.

"I get it, then!" the girl giggled, attempting to hit as many of the critters that popped up as she could. "I haven't played before, but I've seen it a few times~" Charity went on happily as she continued beating the machine.

Brynjar's lips displayed his smile, unwavering, as his arms moved rapidly to bring the plush hammer down on the plastic puppets. After the machine sounded a triumphant tune on Charity's side, he dropped the hammer and smiled, bringing the girl into a hug. "Good job!"

"Aww thank you~" she smiled brightly, setting the hammer in its place and turning to the boy. "That was fun, but I don't think I did it very well. I just started whacking the machine madly!" Charity giggled some, clasping her hands together behind her back as she slightly bobbed on her feet.
