Haruna giggled softly, shaking her head. Okay... she said, grabbing a pen and a piece of paper. She drew out a bubbly diagram of the difference between the male and female genitalia. The guy puts this, into this, she said, gesturing to the paper. That's what they're doing.

I thought the stork brought babies to mommies and daddies though, Charity pouted, looking down to her hands. That's what my teacher at school told me. Teacher's know everything, right?

No, teachers are dumb. That's why my siblings and I for the most part don't go to school, Haruna said. They don't know everything, Charity... she continued. Storks are just birds, they don't know anything about babies!

Storks are big birds, Charity retorted. They could carry babies? She half didn't want to believe that the birds didn't bring babies to the parents. How do babies come out of...there? she asked, pointing to the male diagram.

They are big birds. But they can't carry babies. They're not strong enough. And the babies would probably get hurt, Haruna tried to explain. Well... babies don't come out of there... a guy has these little baby making things in there... she said, pointing to the male diagram. And while they're making love, it comes out into there, she said, pointing at the female diagram. And then, in nine months, a baby is born!!!
