"Urrrm, no, no I'm good..."

Asuka put her index finger in her mouth in a sort of cute gesture. At least, she hoped they all found it cute...honestly she had burned her finger slightly when poking Medri's drink.

"Geez Asuka, that looked like something stupid I would do!"

Oh, the irony. And this was the squad that was going to kill Xellien...? Many people would soon turn over in their graves for this.....

((really I am thinking medri the only semi-normal one!))
"Sorry Asuka should have warned you first. The coffee is quite hot." He took another drink of the black liquid and patted Asuka on the head. Then he headed back towards his little 'almost beach' rec center. "Man I would love some sun right about now.. and some nice waves."

(((Pfft! Oh man, give up. No one in this group will EVER be normal..)))

"Well then...Miss Rainy-skyfish!! Let's yell about waves to the mole next!!"

Kayako was still in mid-crazy, wanting to annoy the mole in any possible way she could. Not only that, but she still had that gosh darned rubber chicken with her...Where did it come from? There was no damn way someone in this facility had a rubber chicken just laying around! Well....this was Tolly's place, so who knew....

Asuka watched Medri innocently, keeping her burnt finger in her mouth. She was right, coffee wasn't a big deal; she could taste it ever so slightly. People sure were weird around here....especially this particular group of friends. Here they were fighting a war for their lives against a military force and a madman, and yet everyone was always so mellow about it. Kayako acted like everything was just going to be fine, and the others were even starting to follow suit. Why weren't there more people like this.....?

Rain would talk about waves if she knew what they were, so she decided on something else instead. "One time," she began. "Back at... that place... I would have these dreams where I was riding some long board-thing in the sky. And there were people with me. Sometimes one or two and sometimes a whole group. I've often wondered what it was I was doing, who the people were, and why I would dream this."

Walking slowly Cainen moved up the ramp between the lower bay and main one. He waved to the group around their LFO's and motioned towards where Asuka's mech was.

Grabbing the radio at his side he called Tolly. "Repairs are finished Tolly. You want to be here when they move out?"

The radio buzzed for a second, "Not really, but I'll be down in a minute. Were there any problems?"

Cainen thought about telling the man. Stealing the food, slinging mop water all over the bay, even running up and down the halls of the lab area. "Nah.. these kids were a little rambunctious this morning but nothin' we couldn't handle. By the way... that shipment of rations you set out for them... you might want to get another crate."

"Understood," came Tollys voice.

Cainen waved again at the group and lit a cigarette.

"Things are done? YAAAAY things are done!!"

Kayako waved the annoying rubber chicken in the air for no apparent reason as if it were a flag. She then started twirling in circles with it in celebration of everyone being all tuned up and ready to go.

Asuka perked up hearing about her LFO, though watched their leader cautiously in case she went crazy-go-nuts on everyone and started slinging objects like she had earlier....

"Where's Tolly? I want his opinion on something!"

Kayako called to Cainen with the chicken on her head.

"HEY! I told you I don't have the money, I am gunna upgrade you inner security!" But the guy was already gone, medri crossed his arms and grumbled. "That little.. I might just end up making his toatser into a laser cannon after all!" Medri hung his head and sighed.
