She forced her wing back up over her face to block out the light. "I'm sure they're fine. Maris is keeping them well entertained, I bet."

She moved her wing and sat up a bit letting out a small sigh of pain. The things they did last night felt good then, but now she just hurt a bit. Mari stretched and a crack was heard from her wing that was curled under her body while she was sleeping.

She gave a small smiled and sat up in the bed. Wrapping the blanket around her. "Yea. We did. I loved it, though." She went back to her human form, but there were still a few stray feathers around the bed and pillows.

All she could do was smile as he kissed her striped cheek. It made her feel good to be loved by him. She knew he would never hurt her intentionally and that made her keep the smile on her face.

Mari pulled back and put her hands on his cheeks, squeezing his face with them in a playful manner. "Oh no! You have to be with me the rest of your life! Can you handle that?"
