look out big stuff, a new librairian is in town, its gonna instakill your a**!
seriously, a librarian with veil of time against a non-anti psyker army is going to kill just about anything thats alone.... in the worst case:
5+ to hit, 3 attacks, 2 hit (due to reroll) 6+ to wound (theres nothing with over T6, atleast not codex based) about 1 wound,
psychich test has a 6 out 1296 chance of failing....
if you give him a second close combat weapon (or something of the sort) you are statisticly going to kill everything you come along (not counting psychic resistant stuff)
to make it exact: 8 5+ attacks (max of 4 hits possible, 8 comes from 4 rerolls)
33.33% hits, or: 2.67, rounded up to 3
3 hits, wounding on a 6, as its re-rolleble, exactly 1 wounds or 16,665%
well... i guess your not gonna fail that psychic test...
and thats against WS8 T6 Wx creature....
makes you wonder....

The chaplain-Lightning Claw Terminator Assault works best
1 x Chaplain, 1 Crozius Arcanium, 1 Lightning Claw 3 attacks 5 x Terminator, Lightning Claw (Pair) 2 attacks each On the charge Give the Chaplain a holy relic. 24 attacks, re-roll hits, re-roll wounds, negate basic armor saves
Nice, eh?

LC termis are shot up pretty quick around here.

He comes with a 4+ invulnerable and a power weapon included in his points cost.

Fluff question:
Inquisitorial forces will undoubtebly have information on soldiers of theirs standing out, but do they have information on all regular marines aswell? (excluding ofcourse lost chapters etc) if so, how is it filed? could someone give me one of those "marine files" with examples included? i need it for a story...
thanx in advance,

from what i can tell: no. the space marines do NOT answer to the inquisition unless ordered to do so by their chapter master. they answer to the emperor himself and their chapter master.

The threat of Exterminatus was required for the Relictors to give over most of their Daemon Weapons and the info about what they did with them. As for how that information's kept, it probably varies from chapter to chapter. Most of them probably have one dataslate per Marine to record his battle record. Also, check the inside back cover of the DA codex for an example of what happens when a chapter decides to stonewall an Inquisitor.

In one of the books I read, the data was kept in ancient computers that could only be accessed by the techpriests. The inquisition came in and "asked politely" (Read: Veiled threats) to see the information they needed under the pretense of needing it for a deamon hunt.

I think i finally got it now:
Chapter Traits Cleanse and Purify Trust Your Battle-Brothers
Major Disadvantages Eye to Eye
Minor Disadvantages Faithful Unto Death
4 Scout Squad (Troops) @ 90 Pts Sniper Rifle (x3); Heavy Bolter (x1); Infilitrate Skill
1 Sergeant @ [18] Pts Sniper Rifle; Infilitrate Skill
6 Tactical Squad (Troops) @ 137 Pts Bolter (x4); Meltagun (x1); Meltagun (x1); Frag Grenades
1 Sergeant @ [16] Pts Bolt Pistol & CCWep.; Frag Grenades
4 Tactical Squad (Troops) @ 90 Pts Bolter (x3); Lascannon (x1)
1 Sergeant @ [15] Pts Bolter
1 Land Speeder Squadron (Fast Attack) @ 85 Pts
1 LS Typhoon #1 @ [85] Pts Multi-Melta; Typhoon Missile
Models in Army: 21
Total Army Cost: 402
Basicly, the scouts just infiltrate somewhere away from my main force and shoot stuff up, if they survive, they claim a quarter aswell.
Larger marine squad will advance, shoot and assault, or stay back and shoot depending on the enemy army.
Second marine squad will shoot any big stuff, and after that support the first marine squad.
the landspeeder will either keep back and shoot his missles, or move in at medium range and shoot both melta and missles. Due to its speed it can always go and help the scouts, or claim a quarter at the last moment.

ArchAngel_Heidur assualt temrs with ligtnign claws and a librarian with veil of time and smite own jus bout everything Except veil of time only effects the Librarians rolls not those of his squad or squad he is attached to. So there are better power combinations then that... Like veil of time and might of heroes. thats a possible 8 attacks on the charge all with the ability to be rerolled for every missed hit or wound...

Space marines believe that the emporer is only the benefactor of the imperium...not it's god, so it's suffice to say that the space marines don't care longterms of what happens if the Emporer were to just stop caring

Just a few quick notes;
You can only use one major psychic power a turn, and using your force weapon is counted as using a major psychic power...so you have to pick between veil of time and the instant kill ability.
Yes Chaplains are even MORE kick a** now, because if you're smart you give them an adamantine mantle.
The REALLY mean thing is that you can attach additional characters to your command squads, for instance you could have a chaplain with a command squad with a librarian in it as one hq choice, then you could have a force commander with a command squad and an additional chaplain in his command squad as one hq choice.
...owies.
