"As ready as I'll ever be. Let's just hope that we run into Saint Dane after we push the turning point toward prosperity. I feel like adding insult to injury. Oh. I'll take those crackers. People always tell me I have a cast iron stomach."
Before anyone could speak, Artemis swiped the crackers. He quickly glanced left and right, then left. He waited outside for Lily.

Saying goodbye to everyone, Lily made her way out the door after grabbing her purse, which still had money in it. She led Artemis to her car, and she was somewhat suprised to see that it still worked. "Thank you Jake," she muttered greatfuly as she pulled out of the driveway. A few minutes later, they were infront of a long, squat building, displaying the sign "Museum of Ancient Cultures". "My office is on the 7th floor," she told Artemis.

Improvise! mrgreen )) Interesting, thought Artemis, I feel like I have been here before. But last time I was on Third Earth, I went to the library. He suddenly recognized it. It was the building that he worked in on Second Earth. Well, when he worked as an engineer. Strange, that he would find a different use for the same building in around 3000 years. " Uh, Lily? You know you're working in the same building I did, before I quit. What exactly do you do in there anyway? Also. Just to answer an unanswered question, I do not know you. You seemed to think that I knew a lot about you. You were wrong. I just inferred that, coming from the future, you would have heard of me and/or read one of my books. Sorry if I confused you."

Izzy gave Charade a friendly smile.
"So...what do you want to know?" She said offhandedly finding a seat on Lily's rather dusty couch. Having to already explain the whole Traveler thing to Ilandere, Izzy felt as if she was ready for anything. Hopefully, she already had the jist of things.

"Anything and everything." Charade said quickly. "I don't know much about being a Traveler. Only what a man named Press told me. He also told me to go to Third Earth, which was where I needed to be. This is the only territory I have been on besides my home one, Quillan. Press didn't take me to any. But he did say something quite odd on why he didn't flume with me to any territories. He said, 'I have to clean up the mess others have made of my plan.'"

Strange... anyway, I tecnically work as a researcher of the 20th and 21st milleniums, but since pretty much everything from your time period is known, I usually give tours or work on computer modules. I own one of the only computers not hooked up to the mainframe computer. I made it, and I didn't have time to hook it in before I went to Quillian with Jade, the other traveler from Second Earth. And, I'm sorry, Artemis. I did read a book The Traveler, but it had an author Unknown. We're travelers. According to computers, we don't exist. I always have to defer my boss, because a computer search would come up with nothing on me." By this time they had entered the building. "What's wrong with all the lights?" she asked agian, desperatly.

"Okay. Here's the run down. You know about the Travelers and everything. There are the 10 territories that we know of. I come from one called Cloral. Saint Dane, the evil villain of the story is basicly trying to take over. Each Territory has a turning point in which it can swing either way, our side or his. It's been really hectic lately in trying to figure out what he's going to do next. First he was on Cloral, then Zadaa and Third Earth."

"He told me I was a traveler, gave me my ring, and said to prepae for the biggest change in my life." Charde sighed, something she seemed to be doing a lot lately. Tears were brung to her eyes. "I'm sorry. All of this is a little overwelming, even if much hasn't happened."
