Meseru looked back at Hitomi and smiled brightly while holding her hand. Suddenly he stopped and Pulled Hitomi to his chest. In one smooth easy swoop he kissed her. He licked his lips," I can't find breakfast that tastes as good as that."

Meseru went the rest of the way to get something to eat. Shapeshifting took a lot of energy aftre all even if it didn't show where Meseru was concerned.

Meseru asked his hand frozen half way to his mouth with a piece of sushi held inside the delicate fingers,"What's wrong Hitomi?"

Concern covered Meseru's face and he concidered asking but he knew what the past could do to someone and he had a feeling that was what was bothering Hitomi. So Meseru just put the piece in his mouth and chewed. He swallowed and said,"You should go get more sleep then Hitomi. I've got to go run a few errands but then I'll come back."
