Mie-tanuki Jillian nodded, the bright smile lingering on his lips. He couldn't help be happy - even childish - after seeing Rosaline. He had always known how to take away Jillian's worries and even the scent of roses scent Jillian into blissful memories. He strode into the room and quickly located the young princess. "How are you today?" he asked politely. Treza looked up, pleased to see the other for the second time that day. "Well... quite lovely since Faryn left. Unfortunately, he's late to tea. Let's start without him. Won't you sit down?" she asked. The reference to Faryn's status was only with regards to the fact that he finally let her alone since the morning. Treza had no intention of notifying Jillian of anything until she had had the proper chance to have a decent tea with the elusive diplomat. She couldn't even remember where that letter was.
But Treza smiled playfully and she pouted if there was any delay in Jillian's reaction. "Come on, Jillian! Sit! I had them make petit fours!"

Dax frowned with the rejection of a demonstration. So one time falling off a horse made him a 'clutzy wife'? How unfair. Before he realized what was happening, he was being held by Sayael. Too close. Way too close. "I'm not a clutz!" he said, shoving an open-palmed hand into the dark-haired boy's chest to push him away. He fixed a scowl, though not overly convincing, onto his features. "And you know what? I don't take back my earlier comment about you being a pervert. You're just wanting to touch my lucious breasts now." He placed both hands onto his chest and gave them a push up as if to further insinuate his meaning.

Rosaline hastened after Muertian, his hand gripped tightly by the other's while his free hand moved to pick up his dress - just in case; he had chosen an unfortunately long dress for running and didn't want to trip. The other stopped suddenly and Rosaline bumped into him. He knew he couldn't knock the other over - he didn't weigh very much, as he was only a flower - but he was embarrassed all the same. Pink patches appeared over his cheeks. "I - sorry," he stammered, cheeks nearly matching his lips for redness.
His eyes fixed on the other's, red orbs filled with curiosity. Did he trust him...? There was something about the other... something that made him want to say 'yes'. The inclination was strong, but he looked away momentarilly, a confused smile spreading onto rosy lips, before he nodded shortly and closed his eyes.

"I... doubt Faryn will be coming," Jillian said, a flicker of sadness - or, maybe, regret? - flickering through nearly black eyes, although he masked it with his charming smile. He sat where indicated and smiled over at the girl. "Hmm, well, if he's not going to show up, we might as well have fun. I haven't really gotten to know you, so we'll have to fix that, won't we?"

Nolas (XD) Dax frowned with the rejection of a demonstration. He placed both hands onto his chest and gave them a push up as if to further insinuate his meaning. Sayael puted and turned his back to the other. "Fine. And I was going to show you, but now I'm not, so ha," he said, sticking his tongue out, even though Dax couldn't see. "Hmmf... My wife... the grump... Or, rather, the clutzy grump." Why did he act strangly around the other? Must be because he was a woman now... But still, he would have to fix that. If he got attatched, he wouldn't be able to get across the wall... Of course, he hadn't told Dax... and Dax didn't know there was a barrier - even if it was slightly weaker - under the water that worked nearly as well as the one on land. ((Fufufu... e.e I'm bored, so I'm making Sayael slightly ebil as part of my past times... maybe it's just because I have a stomach so I'm taking it out on Dax. ;x; ))

Muertian grinned. "Don't open..." he warned, slowly guiding Rosaline through the archway. It was seconds before the two of them were flooded with sunlight again. "All right! Open!" he declared.
Once Rosaline had opened his eyes, Muertian continued, "This is the Butterfly Garden."
The garden wasn't but a fourth of the size of a main courtyard, but it didn't need it. It was a sunken garden; beneath the level of the castle rooms. What it didn't have in ground area, it made up for in height. The sun came from high above, yet the castle walls and hallways closing in the enchanting, little place kept in precisely what gave this garden it's charming name. Butterflies of all varieties flew from flower to flower, not the least bit shy of visitors due to their far superior number.
Muertian didn't take his eyes off Rosaline. He wanted to see the other's reaction. "Do you... like it?"

Treza smiled cheerfully. "Definitely!" Even though she was young, Treza did know a thing or two about tea. She poured the piping hot liquid from her small, flowery teapot into two of the three placed cups and indicated sugar on the table, should Jillian want to indulge. "Sooo.... what do you want to know about me, Sir Jillian? Or is it just your boyfriend who you'd like to learn about?" she laughed at the second question, enjoying the light-hearted tease.

Rosaline's eyes were open wide and he gasped, mouth curving up in a broad smile. He'd never seen so many butterflies before. It was... beautiful. He turned to look at the other, an excesively happy smile on his place. "It's.... yes... I... It's beatiful..." He turned back to look over the garden - so full of light... and beauty - and continued.
"Thank you for showing me..." A butterfly, no doubt attracted by the smell of roses, landed just above Rosaline's forhead. He looked up at it, becoming slightly cross-eyed in the process, his smile brightening with every passing second. He raised a finger to the delicate creature and it obliged without protesting, climbing gracefully onto his finger. "Rice paper..." he murmured, a little surprised that he had remembered. "It's rice paper, isn't it?" ((He means the butterfly. Rice paper = my favorite butterfly. http://images.google.com/images?q=rice+paper+butterfly&hl=en&btnG=Search+Images ))

He poured a small amount into his tea and then blew on it a few times before sipping. "Anyway, if I want to learn about Faryn, I'll ask him. He probably won't tell me anything, but I'd rather get what information I can from the sorce rather than from other's. It can be... hurtful sometimes to learn information indirectly because you don't get the full story... or what you learn is something you shouldn't..." he murmured softly, a slightly whistful smile on his lips. "Anyway, I said I want to get to know you, didn't I?" he said, brightening considerably. "Hmm... well, what sort of thing do you like to do? I know it's a very typical question, but I really don't know what to ask."

Muertian was thoroughly pleased that the other enjoyed the garden so much. But... he honestly didn't know anything about butterflies. They were pretty... and like flowers... right? He knew there were lots of different kinds, but so far as the differences were concerned, he wasn't familiar with that. A hand went up to tousle the prince's blonde locks further. "Um.." he began, a little unsure, "It probably is. Do you know a lot about butterflies? Plu's always here because of them. He likes the caterpillars a lot... Do you know Plu?"

Treza smiled. "I like to read. I'm learning, but it's fun. I enjoy going to town and skipping stones in the water garden... and I like watching Muertian do archery." She shrugged, "I like doing lots of things around the castle. But you know what my favorite thing in the world is? It's my special thing."

"Plu...?" he murmured, looking confused. "No, I'm afraid I don't..." He shook his head softly, in answer to both questions. "And... I don't know very much about butterflies. I... my father was always very fond of anything that flew," he said softly, eyes saddening. He had, over the years, begun to call that man 'father' whenever he was asked about him. "He knew all the birds and butterflies and... everything. He actually talked to them more than he did to me," he murmured with a bit of a shrug, eyes looking a little sad. He supposed he had been too much of a... disapointment for his master to be able to face him fully. "But... they're beautiful, aren't they?" Beautiful... that was what... people called him. Was that was he was? Just something pretty to be looked at? The rose, indeed... "But Father was never able to fly himself... I suppose it is best never acheive your heart's desire, because then you have something to reach for... always some reason to be." He said those words, but he didn't beleive them. It was obvious in his eyes and his expression. He had... something he desired. But how could he possibly reach it? ((Sorrrrry. >< Rosy angstangst. I luff him sooooo much.... ;3; ))

He stirred his tea a bit with his spoon* before taking another sip and setting the cup delicately down on the table.
((*Erm... I don't know a lot about tea, other than lessons in like... third grade. I_I Don't they use a tea stirrer or soemthing? But it sounded retarded to actually say that...))

(Aw, poor Daxy-poo. Well, I think he can manage.)
"I am not!" Dax retorted, his previous scowl becoming more real than before. He took a step toward Sayael and while his back was turned, the blonde sent both hands to give him a slightly harder push than the first. "You're being awfully mean to your wife. I bet everyone in town will think you mistreat me. In fact, that's just how I feel right now. Completely mistreated." And again his 'only child' attitude kicked in. He turned sharply and once again took ahold of his horse's saddle, except this time taking care to ease himself up. He took the general side-saddle position and grabbed the reigns. "Can we just go already?"

((Let's hope so. <3 Sayael may just turn out into the b*****d I originally intended him to be. =3 )) He looked back to see the other clamber much more carefully onto his horse and did the same - although quite differently, using that same sort of... leap that made the transfer from ground to back of hoarse look completely effortless, despite how long it took to learn. "Right, then, let's ride onward, Ellian. Hmm... by the way, what's my name?" he asked, acting as if nothing had happened.
