vampiric_lust Jack smiled wryly.
"Nah, there's nothing going on. I've just been kind of mindlessly milling about, trying to find some work to be done," he chuckled. "How about you, anything you need my help with?" Charlie shook his head. "No . . .not really . . ." He smiled, then walked out of the caves. "See ya Jack." He replied. "OH!" He turned back around. "And thanks." With that he slowly walked off.

Jack looked at Charlie as he retreated and waved. He turned back to what he was doing and instead walked over to the waterfall. He took a sip from a nearby water bottle and looked up at the curving ceiling of the caves, contemplating.

Sun looked around the beach, and pulled out a snickers bar that she found a month ago. Good thing i have chocolate.

Claire sat with Rebecca in her lap as the baby gently tugged on a piece of her long blonde hair. Claire's eyes were not staring at the baby at the moment they were looking for Charlie.

Charlie came back over to Claire and the baby and he sighed. "I couldn't tell him . . .something about it. It was almost as if I was afriad to tell him." Charlie looke dover at Claire. "Maybe I'll tell him later."

A-Jinxed-Kid "You'll tell him sooner or later," Claire said laying her head on his shoulder. Charlie nodded. Kissing Claire on the forehead. "Yeah. But now isn't the best time." He sighed heavily and looked around then abck at Claire and the baby. If he ever got off of the bloody island, he was goign to marry her.

Charlie smiled. Yes. Rebecca was getting big.
A few days passed and things went on as normal, or as normal as anything on the island could get. Michael and the others began building a rafts out of some trees and plane seats. Charlie became Locke's newest companion since Boone was still under the weather still. The only thing that seemed slightly strange this time was the weather. It was getting awefully cold.
Charlie wrapped his jacket around him as he hurried through the jungle, back to the caves. He had been out, gathering wood for fires.
"Bloody hell it's cold." He muttered to himself.

Claire sat in the cave with Rebecca tucked in her arms and a blanket wrapped around the both of them. "Gosh it's cold," she said giving a shiver.

A-Jinxed-Kid Claire sat in the cave with Rebecca tucked in her arms and a blanket wrapped around the both of them. "Gosh it's cold," she said giving a shiver. Charlie got the wood and hurried back to the caves. He shivered and suddenly felt something warm run down his back. He frowned and turned around. Something drippe donto his face and he looked up, crying out, falling to the ground. Wood scattering everywhere. "Bloody hell . . " He gasped. A man was dangling from the trees above.

Claire got to her feet and held Rebecca. "Charlie?" she called as she looked for him. "CHARLIE!" She had heard him scream and was now worried about his well being. Where was he?

Charlie heard Claire calling for him and he got up, slowly, looking up at the man. "Are you okay?" He called up tot he man.
Suddenly the man fell from the tree and down to Charlie's feet. He looked up at him.
"They are coming." He whispered hoarsly.
Charlie frowned, kneeling next to him. "Who is coming?"
"The others." The man gasped, then all-of-a-sudden, died.
Charlie got up and picke dup the man who was several pounds heavy than himself, and grunted as he carried him back to the caves.
"JACK!" He shouted.

Jack was staring out into the sky when he heard a yell. He looked around frantically, trying to see where it had come from. He stood up and looked around again.
"I'm here, what is it?" He called.

"I'm here, what is it?" He called. "JACK! HERE!" Charlie grunted, coming to him. He fell to his knees, the man rolling out of his arms and onto the ground. "I found him. He was up in a tree . . .he fell . . he said that the others are coming . . .He's dead!"
