For a moment, it didn't seem to respond..before falling over, and melting into the light. It was...literally scared to death?
"Oh...Well, I'll take it..I guess." she shrugged, grabbing the token, and moving along. "But hm...which way should I go now.."

She was able to make it out alive. She quietly lamented her loss..before glancing over the area.

The forces of Nihilo had been thinned, but far from removed from her mind...As she glanced up.
"Tch..more of them.." she called, grabbing her phone. "Lilith! Metatron! Let's not be fooled twice."
The Demon of Light, and the demon of Dark formed at her side, flanking both positions. She gripped her axe with a firm, stern glare...And went into battle.
Refusing to let her demons sacrifice herself this time, she pulled through with minimal injuries...Yet, found another strange number.
"Is it a code..?"

Saiga GirikoSaiga found herself fighting...a surprisingly normal set of demons this time.
"No Mantra..No Nihilo...No weirdoes.." she called quietly, gripping her axe. "Just some good old fashioned fighting....Good. I've missed this."
She let out a small sigh, before rushing into combat once more, striking down demons left and right, as Lilith and Metatron covered her weak points. It was an amazing rush...And she was glad to have them at her side.
"With you two, I feel like I can do anything!"

They were relentless...Ruthless..and powerful...
But thankfully, she still had enough fight in her to push them back, allowing her to escape intact.

Only to get cleaned up, at which the Nihilo would drop by, and...
"You know, I'm just kind of sick of this." she called, flipping her weapon back to her shoulder. "I'm gonna keep going...Where's the next area.."

"I just..have some important things to do, and I don't want to expose you all to it...""Do you trust us, still?" the girl called, the man pausing..and giving the same, calm smile."Of course..Without humans, I wouldn't be where I am now.." he called, pacing by. "I trust that..when the time comes..You'll all make the right decision too. So..until that moment..Survive, Giriko. Survive, and bring back the old world."The two didn't need to look at each other, batting the backs of their hands against each other in a slight fist-bump. Even if they were foes...They were also friends...
And nothing was going to change that.

"...You see the surface, but my eyes see more..."Maybe it was strange for him to be the one asking if she was all right, but he couldn't help it...having seen the situation unfolding in his mind's eye to such a tragic extent just before he'd acted to tackle her behind the wall had left him with the image of what might have been implanted upon him. He could never allow that to happen to her...never allow her to be hurt in such a way, ever again. And even though he had taken down the attacker responsible, that worry, that image, remained...he moved to her side to check on her despite his pain, but her eyes brought him right back to the reality of the situation. It soothed him, knowing she was all right, and as she drew near he allowed himself to lower to a knee before her. His hand brushed her cheek softly as she worried, and he tried to think of something to say to calm her when she noticed the wounds on his back...the scrapes, the small burns, and the piercing wound from the shrapnel...yet his own dumping adrenaline made it difficult to think clearly. Or maybe that was just her face...so beautiful and still full of life, still worrying over him, even after nearly losing her a moment earlier. He let his lips curl into the faintest of smiles and nodded.
"As long as you are fine..." he trailed off after a few lingering moments, before her next words caught him by enough surprise that his cheeks pinkened faintly. His...shirt? But a moment later and he realized what she meant, letting out a breath he didn't realize he nearly swallowed. "A-as you wish," the berry-haired heir stuttered for just a moment, not sure if it was her request or the sudden twinge of pain in his lower back just now. Swiftly, he undid the buttons on his shirt with bloody fingers and let it slide from his toned skin, standing slowly to move to the remnants of the nearby Station Wall and slide down gently beside it, using it to let him down onto his knees again. There, he waited...watching over his shoulder as the blonde saw him again, shirtless...like that day in the grove back home...
He waited, watched...and he let himself be calmed, one more time, by the gentle aura just being near her produced.Quote: 19 Tokens

Minori Koroko  She hadn't realized how scared she was until she saw her hands trembling as they reached for his back, letting her fingertips brush over the bare skin. "That attack could've killed you, Genji... I don't know what I would have done...if you...." she gulped, unable to finish the sentence. "I am just glad you are alive...that you are well. O-or, I mean...not as hurt. Not that these wounds aren't deep, but what I mean to say is...Let...let me just get back to it." Why was she so nervous anyway? His life had been in danger...she had almost lost him...That was enough of a reason. But as her green eyes gazed over his toned back, following the taut muscles, watching how they twitched with every moment...she knew that might not have been the reason entirely.
Still, she chastised her own brain for those distracting thoughts, focusing again on the task in hand. Her gaze turned to him every now and then, not dismissing the way his cheeks tinted pink, and how uncomfortable he seemed to look. Her eyebrows furrowed...until it dawned on her.
"Oh! Ooh...G-Genji! I didn't mean it like that! I...um... I just... T-the wounds! Clean...the wounds. I need to..." Gosh, she wasn't making any sense. Was her face red? She felt her face warm. The girl covered her face in her hands for a moment, letting out a shuddering breath. "M-may I...?"
She removed her cardigan and gently pressed it over the open wounds...her hands removing the bits of debris and shrapnel that stuck to his skin. Seeing the wounds was enough to bring back the girl to the important task...though, her cheeks remained pink, now overly conscious of the nakedness and her hands on his back...touching him. "This one is a little deep. I am sorry..." the girl warned before pulling it out as gently as she could, before pressing the cloth to the wound...cleaning as best as she could with the resources she had at the moment. Over the last few days, the world had very steadily gone to hell - and, in many cases, much worse. She'd never expected this to happen, but she'd watched as a number of brave souls fought to protect the world. Many of them were quite powerful individuals in their own right, and she could only admire her dedication to what they believed. Miho Moyasu
She'd managed to get two of the most important things for this quest from out of the Last Bonfire. First, her shield - something to actually ward off the blows of enemies. Second, the axe. It was a simple thing, and very lightweight compared to what she could have handled (Miho could whip around a greatsword one-handed, so a small hand axe was barely anything at all), but at least that meant she could hit hard with it... and took the opportunity to do so as a few more demons came into the area.Quote: Tokens: 1 + 1 = 2 Demons: Pixie (2)
