Otto was doing that quiet, introspective, hurt-looking thing that tore at Cami's heart and made her immediately want to drop this strange, insane woman and go over to him. Coddle and pet and comfort in every way she'd been told was bad for him. Instead she turned and walked towards the ginger giant. He was doing something or another with civilians that had been rescued from the mall proper but that was immaterial. With little preamble Camille placed Sasha on the floor (carefully, so as not to hurt her) and was rather brusque. "So, I don't know this Sasha person but she attacked..." She hesitated before naming the ones she'd attacked. Rep didn't seem to like Maebe much. "Other hunters. There was something going on with her eyes where they were all black and s**t. I figure you're in charge of this venture so you can deal with her." Closing her umbrella with a snap the Sun Hunter bent to unravel her scarf from around Sasha's wrists. Coming back without a scarf, for a hunter, was like a Spartan coming back without his shield. You didn't do it. Voice lowered she leaned in as close as she felt was safe, considering it was Rep. "I think she might be infected."

Tommy took the knock from Horace for the flirtation with a good humored grin and a light shove back towards the other man. Yes they were soaked through, sodden down with more than just water (worse than that, so much worse). They all looked awful, or at least, Thomas could (rightfully) assume that he did as well. But that wasn't going to stop him from making outlandishly flirty remarks. Perhaps it was just an attempt to keep spirits bolstered, or more likely, it was just who he was, incorrigible in any situation, no matter how grim or dire. They had reached the rink, and he had bid his new Bella goodbye, convincing her to go with the young boy that Horace had brought with him, though of course that was only when Rep (barely recognizable from the last time Thomas had encountered him, both physically and in personality) had returned for the rest of their "cargo". When that was finished with, he found himself wondering what to do next, still faintly worried about where Chance might have gone off to, but convinced he had likely just gotten lost in the dark and had made his way back to the lit up camp. He felt oddly alone at that moment, realizing that there was nobody that he was truly close nearby, his gaze roaming to those few others who were getting themselves patched up at the rink and finding that he knew not a single one of them. Lex was a relative stranger to him as well, though there was at least something to be said about bonding through shared trauma. If the life intermediate should happen to glance his way, he'd get a smile, and likely a wink as well. He was staring out into the darkness of the mall, where weapons runes and torches still lit up here and there, when Horace made his offer. "Oh? Ah, yes. Of course. Thank you." He turned as Horace caught his wrist, smiling again. "Good looking and talented. What a treat you have been tonight." His smile widened into yet another grin. "The next time you come for Hattie, I may need to steal you for my bed instead." He meant for cuddles. Obviously. Nothing else ever happened in his and Hattie's room.

As Cami handed Sasha over to the authorities, Maebe sagged with relief at their met destination and leaned heavily on Otto for support. "I know she was your friend." She murmured, quietly, looking up at him with raised eyebrows. "So I'm sorry you had to see that. I'm more sorry that I didn't tell you before it was too late, though." She took the hand that she knew to be holding the reason behind all of this, and placed her palm on top of it. "All that trouble for such a little, invisible thing. And here all I thought we'd have to worry about today was zombies." Her mistake.

Joy was sure, from all those zombie movies and the two instances she actually met some face-to-face, that these creatures groaned. Or moaned. Basically all they made were unintelligible sounds, which she inwardly admitted also sounded like someone waking from a killer hang over. But, and this was important, whatever, whoever it was she'd been heading towards just spoke.
Realizing it was a civilian, the moon trainee felt relieved. At least now she could say she did something in this mission. "Kinda hard to show up in this darkness without glow-in-the-dark stickers," Joy answered with a grin, trying to joke away the seriousness of the situation. "Chill, I'm a hunter."
Trainee. Bert grumbled.
Same banana. Joy mentally responded.

Rep eyed Sasha as she was handed over to him, distracted momentarily from the civilian he was supposed to be dealing with. She looked as perfectly despicable as he remembered, all sleek pale skin and black hair. Only there was something different, something changed in how she looked. There was no mark on her lips where he'd sunk his teeth into tender flesh, she was different.
But she was still ******** unmistakably Sasha.
"Thankyou Cami! I'll make sure she's super safe and everyone else is too." he said.
He reached down to pick up the slight, elegant woman. "I will be back in a moment you guys." he said to the others. "If you'd like to leave your fiesty young lady over by the cots, I will see she's taken to safety tout suite! Feel free to take your leave if you desire, main camp is probably in a bit of a tizzy again knowing its luck."
He once again didn't wait but carried the prone woman over to the cots himself, laying her down before fetching himself some tough rope from the supplies they had. He took great satisfaction in tying her up properly - perhaps with a little extra fancy roping - before calling out to Harrison - who was still with Robert and Mimsy.
"Sasha's probably infected!" with the same sort of tone one might reserve for Christmas coming early.

Rep moved away again, and Lukas was left somewhere between amusement and horror, his attention sliding off the man and then back toward Cain -- who, he thought, was probably having a similar reaction. Not that he could tell, since it was still so dim, people dare shapes in a dark room, lit only by the ambient light -- " He's in charge?" It touched his voice. At least he kept it low. Maybe Rep wouldn't overhear.

Camp HP: 67 + 5 = 72Christ, that ******** thing was stomping around again. The camp wasn't gonna hold, and Leslie was helping Moon out, this time around. s**t, that meant this was his job to do. He went scavenging for materials, carrying back heavy metal panels and plexiglass-- anything he could drag, no matter how hilarious it looked-- and started attaching that s**t to the patchwork barricade. leslie hp 40 fear chl1, ey2 remain buffs: x2 dmg to armored +2 defense

It was a wonder Rep didn't receive a blow to the face after jumping out like that. Really, only the fact that Gretchen didn't have both hands on her weapon kept her from swinging her staff like a baseball bat at him as she gave a girlish little scream. Cain's sentiments were agreeable, and the trainee scowled at the redhead before he offered to take their civilian away to safety. Of course before that could happen another hunter came over and lay an unconscious woman at the man's feet, and Gretch watched on as he picked her up and carried her away, but not without a bit of instruction. Sighing, she put a hand on the poor civie's back, giving her a gentle nudge towards the cots just as Lukas' question reached her. It had her snorting in agreement. Then she heard it, or thought she heard it. "Did he just say that hunter is infect?" This was low, murmured to Lukas and Cain over her shoulder, as she ushered the girl towards the other mall goers that had been rescued. If the civie heard, she was too relieved by the presence of other people to care, and hurried off at once to join them. Maybe she knew someone already there. "You heard that, right?" Infected. That was what they'd been fighting. No one told them they could contract it too.

Camp HP: 77 + 5 = 82 This time he'd managed to get half of a pair of double doors, the heavy emergency exit kind. Leslie made double time back to camp, because what lurked in the dark past it, well. He didn't wanna know, thanks. leslie hp 40 fear chl1, ey2 remain buffs: x2 dmg to armored +2 defense

A smile spread across her face at Alice's insistence to correct the miscalculation, earning a new level of appreciation from Mimsy. It emboldened her enough to correct his assumption about Wonderland - which wasn't entirely incorrect, but required another critical piece of information to be complete. "Alice was the name of our child," she began to explain, as soon as Robert had finished 'thanking' him. It was almost entirely lost within the sound of the child's enthusiasm, and anything she'd intended to say to continue the explanation was entirely lost when she caught what Harrison told him in retaliation. There was no smile remaining on her face, nor any indication that one had ever been there. There was no patient calm left in her appearance. The umbrella that she had retrieved with triumphant cheer for them was shoved off of her shoulder and dropped unceremoniously onto the floor. Without a word, she took two gloves from the box that was offered towards them, pulled each of them on with an obnoxious snap, and uncapped the antidote. Refusing to look at any of the three of them more than she had to, absolutely not meeting their eyes, she steadied the child's arm with a melodramatically excessive display of delicacy and administered the cure with dispassionate functionality. Then she shoved the empty tube into Robert's pocket, as though she just presumed he would want it as some sort of a souvenir, and turned to walk away from them, scratching irritably at her chest above her heart.

Camp HP: 82 + 2 = 84 Nothing but a sheet of plywood, this time. Maybe it was a sign to move on to bigger fish that needed frying. He looked towards the mob and grimaced. There was a LOT OF NOISE. Mik didn't like it one bit, nor did he like the dark, but thankfully someone had seen to at least lighting up the camp. As such it had become his little bastion of safety.
Also he was being useful.
When someone called out for a bandage, he scuttled over to their side, trailing bandages in his wake. "I CAN HELP YOU!" he cheered. "I am a friend who is always there when you need me!"
Surprisingly, he wasn't half bad at it, for whatever inexplicable reason.

Alice wailed as if she'd been more betrayed than ever before, when the needle was administered. He tried to keep her attention on him, but it was difficult when all he wanted to do was lay in a punch to Harrison's face. But the one thing he wasn't distracted with, was Mimsy's reaction to the comment. In his mind, at that moment, he truly believed Mimsy knew better than to take anything a man like him had to say to heart. He believed, without a doubt, that every word he'd spoken to her was of more importance than a simple string of troublesome syllables some stranger to their world of two could manage to utter. Because Harrison did not exist, in this world. None of them did. And they had, on many occasions, come to an understanding about it. When the vial was placed in his pocket, he lifted his eyes to wordlessly thank her, only to catch sight of the back of her head. He could read every move she made, including the irritability that rose up from her as she moved away. Leaving, in fact, was enough of a reaction to put him at attention, and fill him with disbelief. Mimsy's natural state of being was always to move closer, not farther away. To find his hand, to tuck under his arm. To remind him in a million little ways that she loved him, no matter what. Walking away had him putting together the few dots he had to in order to realize that Harrison had actually managed to say something upsetting, and his red eyes turned, emboldened with fury, to glare at him murderously. No one would miss one more Hunter in all this mess, right? Just snap his neck, Robert. Just snap his little, insignificant neck in your hands. Just <******** snap it- "Oi." He ripped himself away from the voice inside of his head, to follow Mimsy with two very strong steps forward. Alice could feel the rage coming off of him in waves, and no child wanted to feel that from someone who claimed to protect them. She whined, squirming in a useless attempt to get out of his arms. He reached out, clamped his hand around Mimsy's forearm, and wheeled her around to face him. The rage he'd felt for Harrison never left his eyes, because it couldn't. He couldn't let it go. "You did not just take what he said seriously. Right?" He growled, his face set in unfamiliar discontent. "Right? Because I know, I know that you know better than that. So it's not possible that you even considered, for a single second, that you aren't my first priority." Why was he so angry? Why was it just getting worse? "Right, Mimsy?"
