The lights turned back on, and Harland was in a daze. Hope against hope, he found himself lying on the floor somewhere a few meters away from where he had been with Alistaire. Harland lay there, not really hearing the commotion, and not reacting.
☆≼Now is not the time for some introspection, Harland. Get your a** off the floor, and go save some people-- what kind of hero are you?≽ Coyote mocked, and slowly Harland pushed himself up off the floor.
☆≼Would you kindly get a move on, Sheriff?≽ Coyote tried, his voice a little gentler.
"Movin'" was all Harland could manage, pushing himself to his feet. He wandered over to Alistaire, and wordlessly wrapped his arms around him, burrying his face against Alistaire's neck.
A pause later, Harland let go, took a step back, and prepared to help clear the room. Whatever was left of it. He watched as one of the infected hunters attacked a seemingly healthy one, and deployed Coyote out towards it.Yayoi 2 dmg to Zascha? Whom I think is still infected and kicking?? Harrison gave the pair a crooked smile, replacing his bandaid tin.
"Not a joke, hell. That's the oldest joke there is. I've got family and hopes and dreams, myself."
In the end, it always came down to them or me. The long game always had the same result, and it wasn't in anybody's favor. He smoothed over Rep's coat.
"Et nomine Patris, et what the ******** ever."

INFECTED - HP: 15/20So close. He was so close. The smell of her flesh was driving him crazy, in a bad way of course. Something hit the back of his armor. the subtle sound of weapon against metal. But it was enough to draw the flesh craving Moon trainee. Letting go of Nellie he whirled around, eyes focusing on Harland before he rushed forward recklessly. All caution thrown to the wind. This new target looked even more tasty. DMG: 3

Infected - 20 HP
The pain in her arm started to matter less and less, the blood dripping out of her mouth, her inability to walk straight didn't matter the only thing that mattered was her hunger. She was hungry. She wanted to eat... everyone around her.
A gurgling noise escaped her throat as she started to follow the smell of flesh in the air.

Dakota didn't wait for long for Ami to leave, as the lurching figure disappeared. Not his problem anymore.
His problem now was to see if Molly was still a hunter and not a zombie, and find Candace is she was still about and not a figment of his imagination like Julie was.
As he hit the first floor, he was greeted by a smaller then him mist huntress who was foaming at the mouth. An infected? He looked around to see others knocking out the infected ones to adminster the vaccine and drew Chama up.
"Not gonna be gentle about this girl." Dakota sighed, "Don't be mad when you wake up." he brought the swords blunt end down on Harlow, wincing only a little...It was a super hard hit...

The warmth that returned with the band-aid didn't seem to want to give up at all, increasing and increasing until he was very sure that it should probably stop and calm the ******** down. He cleared his throat, still on guard for more zombies and trying to look like an unassailable killing machine.
He did however lean into Harrison, lowering his voice to state.
"I don't feel ******** good man." He placed his other hand as nonchalantly as he could on the arm that was aching like crazy and gritted his teeth. "My arm." he said. "The arm that got.. you know. Last time."
A lot of the colour had drained out of his face.

It wasn't very hard to miss when Tuck was taken down, not with that gigantic weapon (was Koume going to get that gigantic? She was already much bigger than when he first got her) and that huge attack by the girl he didn't know. Milo had on his impressed face.
"Nah, no worries," he chuckled when he turned back to Noemi. His hand was still on her cheek, his thumb still catching any left over tears that would manage to escape but for the most part just caressing her face. Though at her words, he couldn't help but snort in a small bit of laughter, "dude, you are though, so much braver." Obviously just concentrating on her right now, to make her feel better, "doesn' happen over night, obviously you've been workin on it, ya?" He smiled, earnestly, as he continued to hold onto her whilst she attempted to stand up - grabbing Koume along the way. He glanced about, seeing what else needed to be done - sort of figured she was sending that message, that action might still need to be done. (And maybe if she did look around, she could see that hey, she did survive this!)
It was hard to tell who else needed to be taken care of though, so he just stuck close to the Mist. Leaving her, obviously, was still not an option. "Stick close, ya? We'll tag team.... er, whatever else needs to be done." That had a nice ring to it, he mused as his eyes scanned about taking stock of where friends were and who was still down.

The lights went out and everything went dark. Pitch dark. It was hard to think that with so many people around that things could be this pitch, and in response to that thinking, the glow of summoned weapons started. It wasn't enough to really impact the fact that he couldn't see, and it even seemed to make things worse. The flashlights flickering all around and the occasional glow or flare of a weapon created ghastly shadows and images in the room.
He felt a hand on his and jumped, a scream escaping him before being cut off as he heard Jordan.
He took a breath, relieved, but not at all calm. The place was a packed room full of hunters and while this usually brought a sense of security to some people, it was also hunters with lists of mental problems and hair-triggers that stretched longer than Santa's Naughty list.
Heart pounding, he could hear the shouts, calls, and rustles of movement but couldn't figure out if things were being organized and going well or if s**t was hitting the fan. It sounded like the fan bit.
He heard Jordan instruct him to stand back and he could sense they were near the wall where the Sun had lead him. Jordan, who like a Sun was calm in battle, or at least knew enough to give orders. All the while, Melvin was just panic-stricken and wanting to summon Saliva. He wanted to shoot whatever it was or might be coming to them away.
When the lights came back, there seemed to be bloody marks all around, but worse was the wall of zombies. The hunters just like them who had been infected, and now they were here and just as contagious as they were – but moreso without being restrained.
He pressed against the wall, wondering – if they were here to save these hunters, who was going to be there to save them?
Jordan looked at him to ask if he was alright, and the Lifer felt a heavy weight. A flash of Rin for a brief moment.
Someone else checking up on him during a battle, during a mission, during real danger, because they knew he needed checked up on. They couldn’t actually rely on him to be on the top of his game and be of any help. They knew he was terrible.
He looked down as he nodded. "I'm fine."
With that, Jordan left to attack, and Melvin stood by the wall to let the other hunters fight. After a while, they manage to take down the wall, but not without other hunters change and turning around them.

Rep's ears started ringing. The buzzing noise increased and for a moment drowned out all else.
YOU DARE SIDE WITH HIM IN MY DOMAIN.
Moments later he would hear a loud thud. It was his own body giving in, collapsing to the ground, convulsing.

"What, all the way back from-? Okay, okay, sh-s**t, hang on."
The blasé bitterness at their situation melted. He shuffled Rep's jacket off, giving the mark a closer inspection. At least, right up until the moment when Rep completely hit the floor.
Was it the blasphemy? He was sorry God, s**t, he didn't mean it!
Harrison shoved the jacket under Rep's ********! We need a ******** medic," he shouted. They were handing out those injections, right? This didn't make sense. He'd got bit a couple of months ago. And it was fine. Why would it suddenly send Rep into seizures?

Noemi didn't see Tuck fall, thanks to her cousin, but she also didn't want to see it. Preferring to focus on Milo instead. it was easier to one track her mind to the sun hunter, then attempt to focus on the chaos around her.
Even if the chaos needed to be dealt with.
So she rose with him, but her hand didn't free itself from his coat, and clutched tighter, when she turned to face the room. It was...easier to see now that things were being taken care off, and the infected were quickly and swiftly administered the vaccine.
"I won't leave." She mumbled quietly, because there was no way he was getting rid of the vice grip of hers on his jacket. She brought her sleeve up to rub away the rest of the tears. "Tag team. Si. We are team." A good team. Milo and her were a good team. "I...where...what..." She looked to him, "Do...do you think...what...what should we do?" She couldn't see anyone that was infected and needed attention immediately.

The Sun's attention was split. Half for the room at large and the remaining infected. Half for the men that made up the other half of their little team. Peyton stuck with Amercia, keeping close enough to the woman to hear that cool comment thrown back at Harrison and Rep, but didn't bother to add anything herself. They would never see eye to eye. Hell, they would never be on civil terms. For a few minutes things were more or less calm, but all too quickly s**t went wrong. As close as they were all milling about, it would have been impossible to miss Rep hitting the floor. The impact alone was enough to set the dainty Sun on high alert, weapons up and ready as she whirled to face the fallen Hunter and the man that was kneeling over him. "He's ******** bit, isn't he?" How ******** ironic. She had to bit down on the cruel retort that had presented itself so readily, and instead took a few steps back, nudging America along with her(and Noah and Kon if they were close enough), and scanned the immediate area for one of the techs running around. "Man down! We need Help here!" Sun stuck together. Even if they hated each other. More than that. The idea of Rep as a mindless zombie was just a little mroe terrifying than Peyton cared to admit.
