*Some of the soldiers changed their focus to the incoming nin, and attacked them instead with a barrage of sand spikes that flew up from the ground and fell upon the nin from above...*
*the others continued their attack on the Mizukage...the once solid spikes that the Mizukage stood upon now became sand again, which would have caused the Mizukage to lose balance and fall downward if he still stood upon it...the sand then started wrapping around the leg that had stood on the spike...*

*Although the nin was surprised to be pinned to his own dome...he quickly took advantage of it...forcing energy into the ice, he made it something like a part of himself...the ice wrapped around the nin and deflected the slashes from the Kaguya...being in direct contact with the ice, the nin could now focus his chakra and armor energy on maintaining its structural integrity as well as manipulating its shape...and the high altitude also provided a lower temperature to deal with...as the ice provided a shield between him and Areno...he began gathering energy within himself for his next attack...it seemed normal jutsus would be eliminated for the time being since his hands were stuck to the ice...but he'll work around it...*
arrow Kazekage's Position
*Streams of flames from axes and pillars of flames from below struck at the sand crab...at a certain temperature, it'll become something like glass...and it'd give the nin within a more difficult time...*

But Areno would have none of it. "No, no more ploys. You die, and you die now. Wasurenagusa no Mai!" A spiral bone construct, massive in its size, erupted from Areno's right arm, with the diamond sword for a tip. It was, in essence, a massive drill. A huge drill with nigh-unsunderable strength and much power behind it as it began to slam into the ice at incredible speeds... in a tight spiral fashion.
The pattern of attack would force cracks and holes into and below the surface of the ice... making it structurally unsound. In fact, six hits in and the entire ice formation would shatter... and the enemy would find a diamond sword lodged in between his eyes.

And the heat of their attacks was drained into the sand, absorbed by the commanders of the desert power.

arrow Vs Areno
*only the center of the ice shield would seem to begin shattering under the strikes...and with a grin, the nin was launched out the other side of the ice barrier...he was stuck to it...that was true, but he would have only been stuck to a portion of it, and, removing that portion from the rest of the ice mass, he would have been able to free himself from it...there would be chucks of ice on him, but it'll serve as a thin armor...*
*he would launch himself just before the drill-like bone shattered the center of the ice barrier, the part he had been feeding less energy to...it would shatter due to the force of the strike, and Areno's body would have thus kept going forward, courtesy of momentum...*
*the nin then closed his hand into a fist...the shattered hole in the middle suddenly had its ice reform while the drill was still partially through it...thus forming around the upper 1/3 to 1/4 of the drill, getting it stuck...the rest of the barrier would then slam itself shut like a book on Areno and grow around him...sealing him within it...Areno would then feel very familiar spikes attack him from all directions within the ice prison...*

*Even if the crab was absorbing the heat, it can only go so far...everyone only has a certain amount of heat resistance, and with the amount of flames being placed on the crab, it would have turned the insides into something similar to an oven...*

Areno simply flapped his wings harshly three times and banked... he then spiked the giant iceball down at the mid-air enemy... before speeding down past it with his drill-sword aimed for the opponent's mid-section. He wouldn't be able to dodge this. not after banking on the ice trap, contending with Areno's falling speed, and the fact that the sun was at Areno's back, making him nearly impossible to see.
A thin layer of sand was stuck to the ice meteor as it descended, and if Areno somehow missed, it would strike the enemy in his stead, only he would find his energies useless in controling it.

Apparently the enemies were retarded. This is the desert, it's -always- an oven in the desert. Heat tolerance is Sunagakure's gift. Not to mention the heat from their flames was being siphoned into the sand and the sand itself undulated elsewhere to the construct.
That said, a blazingly hot crab claw swept down for the offending fools.

*the time was nearing...and with it, the end...the nin couldn't see Areno, but he wouldn't need to...as the drill-like sword began to impale his body, it would be stopped before it reached the other side...it had been caught in the nin's left hand...and an extreme amount of energy was flowing uncontrollably from him...a piece of his armor was dangling, about to fall off...it seemed like he had torn it off...this amount of sudden power was totally different from before...it seemed the armor was not only releasing energy, but was pulling forth every bit of chakra the nin had in him...*
nin: not yet...I WON'T DIE YET!!!! all my dreams...my hopes of one day using this new strength to avenge my family...I WON'T LET YOU TAKE THEM AWAY!!!!
*with that, his left hand crushed and shattered the drill...all the armor's near-boundless energy was rushing out of it...the nin's right hand then grabbed Areno's throat, crashing through any external defense he may have had...any internal bone spikes that would want to emerge would feel as if it had hit something solid and then be unable to extend any further...Areno's own strength, even in his bloodthirsty state, would not have been able to pry the fingers from around his neck...*
nin: breaking the limiter...was my only hope of securing my vengeance...but...the armor's powers are too strong for my body to handle much longer...it seems that forcefully removing the limiter only allowed me a few seconds of power...everyone...please forgive me...I've...failed to avenge you...
*he swung Areno forward with incredible force...Areno's wings would fold in the opposite direction of the swing due to the resistance...the nin slammed Areno full-force into the incoming ice meteor...near simultaneously with the impact, the nin's body had reached its limit from the excess energy...and he exploded...a large nova of energy would thus come into contact with Areno...bashing and chipping away at his bones, tearing away at his flesh...his wings would have been torn off...even destroying the ice meteor as the energy enveloped it...*
*down below, the second figure which had watched the explosion fell on his knees*

*tears streamed from his eyes...they had apparently been close...*

*the figures had seemed to vanish after the explosion in the sky...the soldiers jumped away from the crab...two of them threw their axes at it...lodging the axes in the center of the crab's underbelly...shining bright, the axes exploded with great force, most likely shattering the structural integrity of the crab...*

Something bright fell out of the mid-air explosion... rocketing for the ground, it struck with uncanny momentum - kicking up sand for a kilometre.
When the dust cleared... it was apparent that it was Areno, completely encased in flawed, rough diamond. He was unconscious, in full stasis... and that was a bad, bad thing.
An odd pattern of cracks on the surface of the diamond tomb began to slowly turn red, filling with what blood Areno had left in his body, draining it from him like some translucent vampire. It would become visible, what the cracks actually were... too late. Much too late...
The bloodseal Kuchiyose was complete.
The desert became silent, the sounds of battle, breathing, speaking, and various noises of motion were hushed for miles, as a rippling in the space above Areno's chamber began to form, undulating in the sky. They wouldn't have long to stare, though... not long at all. Cracks appeared along the edges of the spatial distortion... and two stark-white claws reached through those cracks, grasping the edges of the sky... and pulled the sky apart.
From the rift, a massive cranium came into sight, gigantic barely describing it. Two horns adorned the back of its sloped adfixture, terminating in rows and rows of blood-stained fangs. Faster, now that the head was through, came a long column of vertebrae sprouting infernal ribcages that were akin to jagged redwoods, two large, grasping forelegs acting as arms which ended in talons several kilometres long. Behind, two thick skeletal legs thudded deeply onto the ground with vibrations racing through the normally non-conductive desert flooring... topped by a viciously serrated tail that the word "length" failed to compare to. The creature shuddered for a moment, just a moment, until enormous wings jutted out from its spinal column, a wingspan even longer than the skeleton demon itself, complete with leathery membrane that seemed to be made of fused human flesh.
From the eyesockets, blood began to pour, as one would expect from tears. From this blood, two eyes swiveled into place, gold pupils pinpointing Areno's chamber beneath it.
"I am free... free once more. But this means that my charge has been torn. This cannot be allowed, this disrespect!" How it spoke without lungs was anyone's guess, but the voice was resonating... deep, it spoke volumes of wisdom and insanity... hunger.
The skeletal dragon lifted its head to the air and bellowed, a sound sure to deafen those within many metres of its space. "Then let it be known! I am RYUUGAIKOTSU, Patron Lord of the Kaguya Clan! NOW PERISH!"
arrow Kazekage: Sand Crab
The crab stumbled and fell on top of the soldiers as it was uprooted from the sand momentarily... likely crushing them with its weight. Inside, the SAWA were trying to keep Shiko calm, and reason with her (Gotta give them something to do).
Within the construct, Sabaku blanched. "My... son... Areno! ARENO!" He burst through the top of the crab and began running towards the reflective coffin, ignoring the undead demon dragon lord's presence. For once in his life, the man actually acknowledged his son's existence, but it may have been too late. He was frozen in place, however, by a Kanashibari from one of his teammates... dragged back to the Kazekage and the rest of his team.

Currently, there's a five-mile tall Dracolich demon standing above you, poised to attack the enemy, and a nearly-dead Areno encased in diamond and buried beneath the sand, underneath the demon lord. That's... really about it. ]]

Mizukage and the others felt the sand begin constricing their ankles as as they fell into the sand, but as soon as it tightened they each used small water pulses into it to loosen the hold it had on them...
Once they were all free, the Mizulage sent a large pulse done the front of one of the spirals, hardening it, and making it possible for them to run down easily.

Captain: hmm...start the next phase...

*she starts tapping away at buttons...*

The Ryuugaikotsu took one massive step forward, clearing the distance between its previous position near the wall to the tower in one stride.
.... And every corpse it stepped over on the way, every body touched by its shadow... righted itself, stood, and turned towards the tower.
Beneath the sand, hands tore through to the surface, skeletal and brown. They stalked forward and latched onto their former fellows and former enemies. Only, instead of eating brains, these zombies drained the calcium right from the bodies of their victims.
Ryuugaikotsu lowered a gigantic hand of impending death and reached down as if to pick up the Tower. If it encountered a force field, it would simply reach all the way around the forcefield, then.

The dracolich was made entirely of a transcended form of Kaguya bone, apparently. Ryuugaikotsu swept aside the attacks or ignored them as it fancied, in no threat from the projectiles.
It lifted up its foot and stomped right next to the tower, destabilizing the entire area. From beneath, the horrid spines of the Seedling Ferns burst up from directly below the tower, either spearing it and causing internal damage or striking the shield and tossing it skyward.
