"Well, we can go once you feel better. If not, we'll just take the package to him ourselves," Chase said. "Feel free to rest. He can probably survive a day without your visit, though he'll be disappointed all the same."There was a knock at the door and Cherry peered in. "Chase, do you think we should head to the hospital soon? I saw an old guy in Asher's room," she said. "He looks incredibly suspicious, too."

Leo looked over to the door when he heard Cherry's voice and became concerned. If a stranger was with his brother then Leo needed to be there. "Well...it looks like I'm going to have to force my body to work properly." he said softly as he swung his feet off the edge of the bed again. This time when Leo stood, he only wobbled before he found a slight sense of balance. "I'm alright." he said softly. "We need to get there now." he instructed rather seriously.

Without waiting for Samuel to return and without waking Sasha, the twins helped Leo to the car and they were on their way to the hospital. According to Cherry, the old man seemed more creepy than dangerous. He just happened to be wearing a suit with a police badge that was more shaped like a ghost than a star.
"He kinda looks like Asher, in a way, but he's really old," was the only way she could describe the strange man.

Leo gave a soft labored sigh, he hoped they wouldn't have a problem with this guy like they did with the kidnapper. He didn't care who the person was, he needed to leave his brother alone. Once they got to the hospital, Leo ran up to the room, getting slightly misdirected on his way since he wasn't sure how many lefts and rights it was to get to Ash's room but luckily the twins guided him in the right direction. When they finally got to his brother's room, Leo could smell the scent of another person, it wasn't the sterilized scent of a doctor but something else. "Who are you?" he asked rather defensively as he tried to catch his breath.

The old man turned when the door opened and he saw three youths, one with noticeably odd eyes, standing there. The youngest of them seemed defensive. "That should be a question I would ask," he simply replied. "Who might you be?" He was sure there was something particularly odd about the three. They each had auras he was very familiar with. Did they perhaps have supernatural abilities?

"My name is Leo. I'm Asher's brother, these are our friends Chase and Cherry. So let me ask you again, who are you? And what do you want with my brother?" he asked sternly, glad Asher was sleeping through this so he wouldn't get too stressed out about what was going on. The less stress placed on his brother the better really, he couldn't let anything else happen to him.

"Ah, how rude of me. My name is Daniel," he said, and he lifted a hat he wore on his head as a greeting gesture. "Daniel Damican, if you will, but do refrain from formalities." He examined Leo more closely and a bell rung in his head. "You must be the boy Elsa and Rin had been trying to meet. You're rather young for someone who has extraordinary abilities."

Leo was thrown off a bit by the man's last name, Damican. That was Asher's last name. "You have the same last name as Asher....What do you want with him? Are you his father? Why are you turning up now after all these years!?" he demanded, barely even caring that he was affiliated with Rin and Elsa, he barely knew those two girls as it was. There was no need to be concerned with them so soon.

It appeared that Leo was more concerned by the fact that Daniel and Asher shared last names. Rightly so, as they were indeed related, and it would seem odd that the old man hadn't been there for the younger before. "I regret to say that his father has been living in Heaven for some time, now. I am, in fact, his grandfather," he explained. "It was not my intention to be out of his life all these years, but he had been missing. You probably won't believe my joy when I found out he was here, alive and well." He took a seat on a chair next to Asher's bed. "Seeing as you're his brother, I suppose your family had been kind enough to adopt him. You all have my deepest gratitude, as I see he has been treated well. Now, if your parents don't mind, I would like to take him back with me once he is discharged from the hospital."

Leo couldn't believe his ears. "He was never missing to begin with, my parents adopted him legally." he stated matter of factly but instantly became scared when the man started talking about taking Asher away once he was released. "No, you can't take him. I won't let you!" he yelled, hearing the man making himself comfortable by sitting in a chair near Asher's bed, Leo couldn't help but lose it a little. Leo ran up to the man and shoved him, and the rolling chair, away from Asher's bed. "Leave! You can't take him and you have no legal authority to do so!" he demanded, his voice shaking a little as he looked toward the door now. "Cherry, Chase, escort him out before I call for security."

Leo underestimated his own strength, he hadn't meant to shove the man onto the floor, merely push him away from Asher. But his point still stood. "Mr. Damican, if someone tried to take the only family you had in your life away from you, I'm sure you would feel the same way." he said softly, still remaining defensive as if protecting his brother, he couldn't let Ash be taken without a fight. His brother would do the same for him. "What do you want with Asher anyways? You've had all this time to realize he was here, why have you shown up now?" Leo was still defensive but he was still curious as to why the man wanted Asher.

"Though this city isn't the biggest, there are many people and they often come and go. Besides that, the last I saw of Asher was when he had been in a different city, so he could have been anywhere," Daniel said, though he doubted Leo would understand. The boy was like a jealous, overprotective puppy, at best, barking at anyone who came near his brother. "It was certainly very difficult to find him, and he never once tried to contact me. As for what I want with him, isn't it natural for a grandfather to want to be with his grandson? Just as he is your family, he is also mine."

The old man did have a point, Leo couldn't be too selfish but he needed his brother, he depended on him. But at the same time he couldn't deny family from visiting his brother. "I'm sorry for pushing you, I didn't mean for you to fall. If you leave your number....I'll let him know you stopped by." he said softly, turning his back on the man to focus on his brother now.

Daniel simply moved his chair back to the bedside. He wasn't planning on leaving just yet. He came to see his grandson, and he planned to see him once he was awake. There were many questions he wanted to ask, such as why Asher didn't contact him.Asher was currently suffering from a nightmare. He had been holding a baby, seated in his mother's lap while father slept near her. Young Asher had been rambling many things, mainly about how he was going to be the best brother in the world for the bundle named Raki.
A sudden jerk to the side, as if something crashed into them, jolted Asher awake and he let out a yelp of pain as the nerves in his back went wild. He hardly registered that there were others in the room, especially a familiar yet unknown old man.
