Back at the beach. Tobias walked along it with his hands in his pockets, eyes darting from the sand at his feet to the area around him. He pocketed a small seashell and a bar of soap; he had those at least.

Another day, another break to take down at the beach. Tobias scanned the beach, hoping to find a glowing thing that wouldn't crumble on him.
All he found was another shell and more soap.

Tobias opted to spend his day off at the beach. It wasn't particularly exciting, but at least it was somewhat relaxing.

Soap again. Just what had been attacked to make this place littered with soap? Maybe if he gathered enough seashells after a while he could make some kind of seashell maraca.

Tobias figured being stuck on the island meant he was grounded in a weird and twisted way. At least he wasn't restricted from the beach.
Or at least restricted from picking up soap and some seashells.

Dozens of yards apart, Edgar and Mimsy went beachcombing again, taking advantage of the quiet this early in the morning (or kind of late at night I guess).
