Never Again... Will I be bound in chains The Reaver watched Emma turn back into her normal form and gave her a nod. "Now, get on your hands and knees and beg me to be merciful. Oh, and tell me how strong and great I am. It better be convincing too." He squeezed Herald's neck slightly tighter to emphasize the point. Herald was beginning to get tunnel vision as darkness surrounded his sight.

☽ Emma shot Reaver a death glare before it faded when she looked at Herald again. She quickly got on her hands and knees then staring at the ground with a grimace on her face, after a few moments her expression went neutral. "Your abilities are truly amazing, Reaver. It was foolish to think he could take on someone as strong and great as you. I am foolish as well for attacking someone such as yourself. I beg of you, please spare him... We aren't worth your time." she said in a calm voice. Obviously she had done this before it seemed since she sounded pretty truthful. Despite her calm tone and blank expression, her heart was pounding since Herald was running out of time. ☾

Never Again... Will I be bound in chains The Reaver watched Emma as she begged him not to kill Herald and praised him. When she was done he laughed long and loud. "That was very convincing!" He told her. "Props!" He let his grip loosen slightly on Herald who gave a gasp as he breathed in precious air. The Reaver tightened his grip again. "Alright then. One more thing. You crawl up to me, kiss my feet and thank me for being so merciful. Then I'll let him go and be on my merry way." He gave her a wink. "You know you want to," he told her.

☽ Emma was pretty disgusted by his next idea, she refused to show it though. She went over to The Reaver then "Thank you for being so merciful..." she said before kissing one of his feet really quickly much to her disgust. She glared up at him then "Now?" she asked. ☾

((you have no idea how tempting it was for Emma to suddenly burst into flames and try and burn him up...))

"Oh, and you're welcome of course." He dropped Herald to the ground, letting him cough and gasp as he breathed in air. The Reaver snapped his own fingers and a portal opened, revealing the fact that he could have left anytime he wanted. With that he stepped through the portal, disappearing from sight as it closed behind him. [[Exit Reaver]]

☽ A few seconds after Reaver left, a area around Emma exploded into blue flames before disappearing and she started spitting on the ground and wiping her mouth while swearing in a completely different language. After a few moments of doing that she looked at Herald and went over to him, kneeling next to him. Her ears pinned slightly, she had no idea what to do now. She felt pretty useless at the moment and humiliated. ☾

00SpiritedAway00 What do you think of The Reaver's kishin form look by the way? I was stuck between that and the other one I have when I was trying to decide Herald's full kishin form Herald coughed and continued to take deep breathes as he lay there, his vision slowly filling out again. He looked up at the sky seeming completely out of it. The spirits from the castle slowly floated over to where he lay, having been intelligent enough to stay out of the way of the fight while it was happening. They slowly gathered around him. Although they didn't have much energy left, they were able to close up the worst of the wounds and stop the bleeding. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma watched the spirits heal Herald without saying anything. She glanced towards the injury she gave him which made her feel even worse. "...I'm sorry..." she said finally. ☾

Never Again... Herald's focus slowly returned and he looked over at Emma for a moment, saying nothing. He slowly got to his feet, taking his eyes off Emma as he turned to look at seemingly nothing. He looked back at Emma again, an angry expression on his face before he turned and began walking towards the fortress. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma's ears lowered further as she saw Herald wasn't too happy. She wasn't sure if it was because of the fight, because of her, or both. She watched as he got up and went back to the fortress, kneeling there for a moment before following. ☾

Never Again... Herald stopped when he reached the door to the fortress, bending forward and resting his forehead against it as he closed his eyes. The spirits gathered around him but said nothing; they were more focused on recovering energy so they could finish healing Herald. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma stopped behind Herald and just watched him. She wasn't exactly sure what to say right now. He seemed angry at her, at least she thought he would be. She had accidentally hurt him, then she ended up kissing up to The Reaver and insulting him in order to leave him alive and defeated terribly. She stood near the spirits, choosing to stay quiet for now. ☾

☽ Emma flinched at the question. He should've just yelled at her and gotten it over with. She glanced at the ground "I didn't mean them... I just panicked. I didn't know what else to do... I was afraid if I said no he would have broken your neck and killed you right then." she explained quietly. ☾
