While chasing another fragment to the cluster, it stopped short thus bumping into his chest.
"Father, I'll do my best. Please watch me! Please watch me!"
Unlike the previous fragments, and the ones from the days before, this one spoke about a father figure... and the voice was of a young boy. He was interested in the memory, but how did it effect him?

With his fifth shard, Aeruban huddled the five against his chest as he turned to return to the Goddess of Ruin. He had completed the task and was content, though his mind was now lingering on the voices from the fragments he held close to him... Why was he holding them close?

Ralifa returned to the spire. The fragments that still lingered here were her goal. As she moved through the fog, thin fingers reached out to grab one of the small fragments. Its glow lighting up her hand as she clutched it tightly.
Well that was easy.

The Goddess of Ruin...walked away from him.
"Huh?" She walked to a bunch of shadows beside him and handed them some Fragments (not the small, glowing ones, but the loot ones).
But then he heard something about going to the shrine...
Well, if she didn't want these ones then-
He threw the Fragments away.
Then, he observed his surroundings. Even after that prolonged hunt, the number of light-orbs floating in the air didn't seem to dwinlde.
SNAP.
A freshly-caught Fragment. This one should be enough---
"Now, you must fulfill the promise! You will-"
Another memory. Sooner or later he might be tempted to collect fragments only to know whose memories are those are. But before that-to the Shrine he will go.

The fragments are just as important. Remye kept these words firmly planetd in her mind as she returned from the altar to the main area of the Spire, looking around for the gleaming fragments. Finding one was easy, and the girl pocketed it before making her way back to the altar. She said she had something that would interest Remye.
Remye wanted to know what it was.
(Exiting to side-quest Ruin’s Mercy, Ruin’s Deception)
Mnezara was not one to refuse a Goddess' request, even if she didn't quite understand why they were putting them through such strange tasks. She caught one in the palm of her hand easily enough-- "Raddie..." it whispered, in a soft pleading voice-- and turned to head back to the altar.

Itoto returned here after what felt like a long while. Fragments, hidden amongst the fog. All he needed to do was get one this time. Just one. It didn't take long. A short walk through the unsteady terrain and he saw it, floating almost too easily within reach.

Acerola nodded at the Goddess, who had taken off after telling her to go visit the Shrine. She picked up the small gift that the Goddess had left her before heading off in that direction as well.
As Rhryse wandered through the Spire, she made a point of looking for the fragments. She was FAR less cold now, but she craved warmth. If the fragment could offer it...
She spotted one, nestled in a dark crevice. They liked those. She was quick this time, her reflexes much better than they had been. As her fingers wrapped around the fragment faint wisps of a voice seemed to whisper in her ear again.
"I want to be with you."
The voice was vaguely familiar, maybe. It sounded far away, almost half remembered. She turned, not expecting to find anyone behind her, as there never was anyone there when this happened.
Still. She felt the warmth. She was pleased.

He needed a fragment to give to the goddess. She had said that if he had one he could see something interesting, and well, why not. The fragments had been harmless.
He found a promising one, and caught it, the words not much of a surprise this time. "going away forever,"
He held the fragment carefully, and headed back to take it to the Goddess.
Character name: Rizetmer'yl Character appearance: The grey figure is average height but slender, with what might be slightly pointed ears. A fragment was required, a fragment that he needed to give to his goddess. Oddly the call of this goddess seemed stronger than the others, the pull feeding with a slight familiarity.
Remembering how to grasp them earlier, his fingers curled around one of them with ease.
