Verandi toned down the volume of her conversation with Rae so that she could talk to Tomorrow and Maximos at the same time without disturbing Rae. "Sorry about that.. interesting spell work, by the way Maximos!"
"I would not have thought that others could undo what I worked for the past few months to create in Rae, I thank you for alerting me to my oversight!" 3nodding
"Now Donner dear, what in the world led you to think that the raven I gave you was broken?" There was a sardonic touch to her voice as she turned her attention to Tomorrow.
"I gave you a perfect tool, and you assumed that because she was not the same as you remembered that she was in fact flawed in some way? Don't you trust me?" xp

Maximos was filled with mixed emotions. He was after all a Reaper, he knew that death was an equal though opposite cost of life, and so the idea of someone using their powers to play god and alter a timeline to save someone from death, even his friend...it rubbed him wrong. But he was a gentlemen, and the one not to ward his spell.
The feeling is mutual Ms. Verandi, I would have never thought another could infiltrate my enchant, thank you for alterting me to my need for wards. And thank you for your confession.
He shook his head, simply unable to could remain completely silent.
What you did was unnatural, I cannot say I agree with you playing god in the slightest, morally I am against anyone I care about being a "tool", but....
Protocol called for this Rae, 'Andi, and likely Grace if she got in the way to be taken down. But as he did not make slay the God standing across from him, he wouldnt act on this either. Perhaps he wasnt as heartless as he appeared.
...it is Raven's decision as to how to proceed. I will stand by whatever she chooses.

He nearly jumped out of his skin.
Maximos jumped back when he saw a smiling row of spiky teeth that D presented, and then fell back as a woman fell on him! Apparently, today, it was raining woman. He was just about in total shock. A look of a complete "wtf?!" painted his features.
D of course, though Teira's idea was loads better than just shouting, so he immediately followed suit effectively, add an extra...
Oof!
As the trio created a functioning dog pile on Maximos. Its function being to leave Maximos laugh, hysterically under the duo.

This was obviously the point where Verandi stated that she was not afraid of Maximos... if he really understood, he would see that she longed for the sweet embrace of her own death... but since she had yet to see a time line where that was a certainty she would work towards keeping her old souls around for as long as possible.

Indeed.
Fear, panic, those werent his concerns, simply duty and he had a duty. Even if Verandi could blink Maximos into nothingness, he would be sworn to attack. Simply put...no fear existed between either of them. Though if the cycle of life and death was not interrupted he hadnt a reason to attack.
Verandi made a good point, it was very good. And honestly he could see himself going along with it. But...it wasnt his decision. It was for Rae to make, and it was Rae who he waiting for. At Rae's word he would accept or deny what 'Andi had done. As per her opinion Verandi would be friend or foe. He could see her longing, he knew that given her willingness he could likely deliver it, but that was another matter for another time, likely a time never to come.
It is a matter of wether or not I will help. But that decision lies solely in her hands. What do say Raven?

((By the gods Maxi, congratulate the woman! That was a brilliant piece of prose, Crys, you should be proud!))
Donner did not answer the woman controlling Grace, save for when Maximos and her were finished talking.
Then his eyes would lock onto her, his thunder-deep voice as cold as a chilling rain. "When we meet again, Andi...you'd better pray i am in a good mood."
Maximos had his rules. He would break them or follow them as he saw fit. But Donner had come here for one reason, and one reason only - to get back Hono. The sweet flower he trusted and loved, almost like a sister. Regardless of what was to come or what had happened, he wanted Hono back. Not someone who could or couldn't be her.
Andi, in Donner's eyes, had interrupted that process, inevitably destroying the only chance to bring back the true Honoraven. And Donner's wrath would be terrible if the end result did not sway his remorse.
He looked down at Rae, pitiful in her confusion. She was like a paint canvas that had once held a beautiful portrait - but the painting had been removed, the gilded edge of the canvas all that remained. It was now up to Rae to paint another portrait, hopefully one of equal beauty.
He quelled his anger as he looked upon her. "What say you, my daughter?"

As Maximos started laughing, Teira started laughing anew. Her laughter was akin to the tinkling of bells dancing in a playful wind. There were just some things about her that nothing could change. Pouncing forward she flung her arms wide, catching Maximos up in a hug as she nuzzled his cheek and beamed at him.
"Teira is happy you're home, Maxi-mo-mos!~"
Sitting back on her heels, her hands clutched at the skirts of dress as she looked at him quizzically...
"Did we scares chu?"

((Aww redface , I just ran with an old idea, and a new suggestion form Maxi himself*hides* ))
Rae blinked a few times as if she was just waking up from a slight daze, only just now realising that things had changed. She had heard 'Andis conversation with Maximos, as well as the fact that Tomorrow was apparently very pissed off at the blond as well (( rofl )) .
"Um... but I am Hono... despite the fact that I still think that is a stupid name..." sweatdrop Rae ran her fingers through her bangs and rested her forehead against her palm for a moment as she tried to think it all through. "Verandi... like as in the Norn Verandi?" stare
Rae had found it a lot easier to find that information in her memory, for there appeared to be a part of her mind that was arranged differently.

Rae folded her arms across her chest and decided that she didn't like Verandi any more than Maximos or Tomorrow apparently did. "That means that you were cursed by Odin to foretell the future for him... and that you have apparently changed somewhat in the past however long!"

Rae had some strange thoughts about space time continuums that she thought might be more fiction than science, but the entire idea of being here and alive when she was from a different point in time and dead was still making her feel slow and stupid xp

Rae and Hono were both strong enough that they could do some serious damage to their surrounding area if they went berserk!
"But... if you still think of yourself as Hono, then you will become Hono... plain and simple!" whee
But of course that didn't explain a damn thing and if you thought about it long enough there was nothing simple about what she had said besides the words themselves rofl
"Now, I will be off.. people to harass, and places to disturb and all that Jazz.. Toodles!" The smug blond even blew Donner a kiss as she waved to Maximos with her free hand and let go of her hold on Grace, leaving the poor woman feeling rather worse for wear and wondering if they were all going to be mad at her in place of 'Andi stressed

"What the hell do you mean by tha...?!?" Rae started before 'Andi disappeared on them scream "Bloody freaking meddling...b..c..err cow!" xp Rae actually ran out of words, she was so mad that she was shaking slightly and her confusion had only grown with what Verandi had shown her...
And the fact that Verandi was openly meddling like this was rather scary from what she could remeber all of a sudden, The Asir, were not exactly subtle in their workings most of the time. From what Rae could recall, they did not normally go all out in a "godly" fashion... Well except when Thor had demolished Durem... eek Rae slowly blinked and looked at Tomorrow as that memory fluttered into her mind "Your Th...!!"
redface She clamped both her hands over her mouth as she looked over at Maximos, several details about him rising to the surface of her mind all of a sudden, and knowing that saying Tomorrow's other name would not be a good idea even if she had managed to figure out the connection between him and 'Andi!
But at least she was obviously managing to remember more about both men now that she had started down the tracks of her own mind xp

That sort of being is the reason I have a job...
Maximos said with a sigh his eyes scanning downwards. Rae may have been confused but she was stable. Her mind was slowly re-attaching and forming into...something. Good or bad she was his friend, and he was happy she was alright.
He watched silently as one by one the epiphanies dawned on her. Identities, perhaps places, and times, the very thing the spell was meant to accomplish. Accomplished as such, and without Verandi's involvement the imaginary world they had come to meet in would begin to slowly fade. There was a completely other world in which they could talk and chat and eat and such. Maximos eyes were the first to open, Tomorrow would be released next, and Rae, last, as the last of the violet glow poured into and faded from her square. All the memories and emotions she had access to before and more would be there, only now she would be awake.
And Maximos stomach would growl ever so faintly as he placed his hand on his stomach and said.
How about lunch?

Maximos said working his way to his feet, smacking off a bit of dust from his clothes with the rest of his laughs slowly faded.
Its good to be home Teira.
He smiled brightly, it really was. Teira had just effectively knocked free the thoughts of Barton and its horrid state that still swirled through his mind. He noted something else, no one was forming her clothing the control came from within her. And her speech had greatly improved.
I see Walter's been teaching you well. So, what've you learned while I was away?

Jumping to her feet excitedly, she did a little twirl clapping her hands together in excitement. Spreading her arms wide, she winced in a brief moment of pain before grinning once more like a mischievous Cheshire, four ebony wings fanned out behind her. Her features were painted with delight as she flapped her wings demonstratively for Maximos.
"Looky!~"
She took off at a dead run down the hallway and vaulted into the air, her wigs snapping open and lifting her off the ground as she glided along several feet, landed, turned around and came back the same way.
"Niyaaa~ Come outside! Is better!"
Clutching at his hand and waving at D to help her, she would try and pull Maximos outside. Promptly... getting lost and pouting.
"Hrrmmm... Which way?"
She looked around wide eyed, trying to remember the way D had brought her.... but they had been going too fast and she'd not paid attention to the twists and turns they'd taken.
