"What's that." Hana tapped her nose. "ITS A SUPER SPECIAL SECRET OF THE WOLVES. I CAN'T TELL A DIRTY CAT." Evelyn scowled. "Jeez. All right then." Hana giggled. "Why are you interested in wolf beliefs?" Evelyn shrugged and put her head on her hands. "Reasons."
Kiera fiddled her hands together and looked to the floor. "The princess' protector. He finally got a rest." She smiled a little to herself then turned away to rake her hands through her hair. Evelyn was right. Ying blamed herself, however Yang was just suppressing herself now under Ying's feelings to keep herself from wringing the little girls neck. Oh how she wished she could. But that wasn't even then point. Yang wouldn't have wanted to wring Hana's neck simply for killing her dog. It went a little deeper than that. 'You doing all right there Kiera?' 'I'm fine.' 'Oh wow. Not getting those mood swings already are you?' 'Keep quiet, Evelyn. There's something weird going on.' Kiera's eyes opened a little wider. "Wait.. what the-" 'Hey, did you feel that?' 'Yeah.' Kiera turned around again. "I think.. I think Cyril just died too. His presence faded."

As she said, "wait what the..." shortstraw was finishing the stone and stood up as he tossed the stuff aside and looked to her as he walked over, "what?" He asked sadly. 'Hows hana?" He asked to evelyn unsure what was going on even.

'Hana's fine now, I think.' "Why do you suddenly look so serious kitty?" Evelyn blinked a few times as she looked back down to Hana. "There's something going on. One of Kiera's old.. friends just died, too. You met him yesterday at the festival. The guy who gave you Mai." "Oh. Scottish dude." Kiera scratched her head and looked to the side. "Cyril's dead." 'Can you tell how he died from here?' 'I'm not a ******** mind reader like some of us.' Evelyn stood up and brushed herself off. "Com'on Hana, we're going on an investigation." Hana hopped to her feet happily. "YAY!" Evelyn transported both herself and Hana to the underground base, where Cyril had mostly spent his time with Mai for the past few years. Upon nearing his room, Evelyn felt a certain coldness. Hana quickly burst through Cyril's door and turned her nose up at his splattered body on the floor. "Eewwww." Evelyn's eyes thinned. "Murder? But.." She knelt down next to the body and picked up Cyril's broken glasses. "Who would wanna kill this pointless guy?" Kiera scowled and stared at the floor as she picked up information from Evelyn. "He was murdered. Evelyn said that he's splattered on the floor of his room."

*Shortstraw jumped, "WHAT!" He now look super serious, "but the only ones who know of our base, or even how to get around in it is my team." Now this was something personal, cryil was suppost to be safe there." 'Evelyn, look for clues. We need to know if it's it's one of ours. It has to be someone that would know down there well.' he thought as he looked to Keria, "Might be best if you dont go and look hun. It's up to you. But if you want, i can take this one. And figure out whats going on." He wanted her okay to do so. This time he didnt' want to leave her, but he wasn't thinking she should go see cyril like that either.

Kiera made a face. "That's my childhood friend, too." She took a ribbon out of her pocket and tied up her hair. "I dunno.. Maybe it's not so good that I go there. I already know what to expect." She rubbed her face. "But that doesn't stop me being curious." Hana got down on all fours and sprouted a little wolf muzzle out of her human face as she sniffed the ground. "I smell someone else." Evelyn rolled her eyes. "No s**t, he was murdered." Hana looked up and sniffed around the room. "The other person was really smelly." "Bad smell?" She scrunched up her nose. "Perfume." Evelyn scratched the back of her neck. "I guess they weren't trying to be too subtle about it, then, if they left a perfume smell for us to pick up." Hana giggled. "Well it's not a very subtle murder if you think about it kitty." Evelyn sighed. "I guess you're right there."

*Shortstraw nodded, "I want you to take it easy on this time keria." He looked to her sadly, "Please. Let me handle this one. It's in base. He should have been safe there." He hugged her and kissed her before turning away, "Please take it easy keria." He then turned and headed down tot he base. There he dropped and headed to the room where he walked into see hana and evelyn, "Oh god..." he put a hand to his mouth, "Alright we are offcally on duty." he looked to evelyn, "do we need hana. Becuse if not, we shouldn't put her at risk and send her home." He was serious, "so what clues is there." He squtted down and started to look around. Even a blade of grass could be helpful.

Evelyn shrugged. "Hana's been helpful so far." Hana hopped to her feet with a grin "Yeah!" Evelyn put her hand on her hip and looked down to Cyril's unfortunate splattered body. "Well Hana said that she smelled some perfume." Evelyn saw Cyrils expression and made a face. "And he looks like he saw it coming, too." Evelyn looked to Shortstraw with a raised brow. "And I doubt we should send Hana home to be alone with Kiera, after she's just experienced not only the death of her dog but also a friend she tried to kill once and came back to life and so forth." Hana chuckled. "She killed him before?" Evelyn sighed. "It's a long story, lets not get into that." She looked around the room. "Do you smell anything else Hana?" Hana went back to sniffing. "Uhh.. usually I'm able to pick up what kind of monster they are.. but I can't smell anything other than perfume." Evelyn looked back. "Or maybe that's the point of the perfume. Does it lead anywhere? If Cyril has only just been killed then the murderer could still be in the area."

*Shortstraw nodded. However he didn't like this. Hana was banned to turn, this would be edgeing it on. He figured though maybe he could ask keria permission for somthing important. "Keria... i know this is probably a mistake, but you can trust me. I need Hana's nose. However i'm not sure she will be much help if she's suppressing her shifting too much. Just this once while in my care, can we lift the ban untill i figure out who did this? he thought to her hard, hopeing she would be able to reply back, if not, she could use evelyn. Meanwhile outside he nodded, "Alright then. Evelyn be ready at all times to cetch the person, no matter what they are, no excuses. Hana, follow that smell and quickly."

Hana grinned. "Yay we're playing detectives!" She exclaimed as she hopped around the room to try and get a stronger scent. Kiera walked through the front door and made a b line for the office. 'If its just this once, fine. You guys wanna find out who killed Cyril.' She on the other hand seemed less fussed. She opened the locked drawer in the desk and her eyes switched between states as she skimmed through the documents. "I gotta write this down.." Evelyn yawned as her eyes followed Hana around the room. "You got the all clear, Hana. You can shift of you want." Hana's eyes fluttered innocently. "Huh? But-" "Mind readers. Now lets get on with it." Hana nodded enthusiastically as she hopped out of the room and shifted into her wolf form in order to get the full scent potential. "Down here!" She trotted down the hallway towards the main hall. "Smells... Kinda like.." She thought. "Hmm.."

*Shortstraw followed after Hana, however as he thought, it was personal. He never liked the guy, however this was in his tarritory, his little side home. So now, it was more as to who would be able to do sucha thing and why. Donte, cresent, moon, soflora, neither of them were around right now. They were clear. There were only kirro and karen, and since kirro was with soflora this morning, he knew she wouldn't be it even if she was he wouldn't belive it.

As Hana raced across the hall and down another tunnel the smell seemed to get stronger. "I think the person is near here." She said quietly this time. Approaching the corner, Hana suddenly stopped and moved very slowly. She peeked her head around the corner and briefly saw someones legs disappear out of the pothole in the ceiling. There was both a male and female voice. "Did he have it?" "Nah. We're gonna have to check that other person. Unless its actually at their home. Which would suck balls." "You're right. Lets just get out of here before someone sees us." Hana stormed over to the pothole with Evelyn close behind and looked up. "Hmm. They're gone." Evelyn put her hand on her hip. "And about to kill someone else by what I figure." Hana sniffed more. "They smell kinda familiar. But I still dunno what monster they are." Evelyn sighed. "What could they be looking for that Cyril could have had?" Hana barked. "Oh! They were Banshees!" "That's still no help. We don't know any Banshees." Hana frowned. "Really? They smelled familiar though.."

*Shortstraw nodded, "Go go, dont loose there trail, we need to trake them, or better yet stop them." He pushed as he jumped up the man hole with haste.
Meanwhile in the office Paradioa appeared, "Missstresss..." he replied with his eye gleaming out of his coffen. However he didnt' really say much more. More or rather he just appered to appear.

Kiera lifted her gaze then looked down again to write. "What is it, Paradioa? You haven't shown yourself to me for a while." She sat down and gave a long sigh. "God ******** damnit." Yang had taken control once more. She looked up again. "Not that I'm not glad to gave you around. You're comforting to me but much the opposite for everyone else." She smiled a little and scrunched up a piece of paper to burn it in her hand.
Hana frowned. "But.. They just disappeared." Evelyn frowned. "Where would they go to next?" Hana dipped her head to the floor. "They didn't say anything other than home, but I think they're going there last." Evelyn nodded. 'Kiera, its them' 'I'm aware. Do they have any idea what they're doing?' Traterous bastards is what they are.' 'It depends what they're looking for.' 'Huh?' 'I think... They're going to try to get information off Mordekai next. Don't ask how I know. Its a guess. Time is of the essence, I'll explain later.' 'Theres no way I can just bring that into conversation.' 'Unless you want your friend to die, you'll have to.' Evelyn sighed. "Okay, Kiera just said that she was looking through some files for us and has reason to believe that they're going for Mordekai next."

*Shortstraw thought about it, "the uncle?" He shrugged, "alright then, poof us." He replied to evelyn. However Veria had already appeared in mordikis place, she had been paying close attention since hana was involved and now she looked around carfully, and quickly for her uncle and aunt, "UNCLE!" She called.

By the time Veira appeared Mordekai was in his wolf form however on his back with teeth bared fighting off a great cleaver. This was the first appearance of Mordekai's wolf form, and it was a mystery why he didn't more often. If anything, his wolf form was quite beautiful, and the largest out of any of the Guardians seen so far. But that was no confusion, he was a male and the eldest. His fur was a dark black however was light enough to almost be mistaken for blue. The person standing on his belly holding a cleaver to his throat glanced over to Veira slowly in their mask. However with the hair flowing out the back and the body proportions it was clear to see this was the woman. "Urgh, s**t." She looked to the kitchen door. "Brother!" The tall man also wearing a mask came slowly through the door with Mordekai's wife, and two daggers to her throat. "I got her." Mordekai took this chance to clamp his great jaw over the cleaver and flip it out of the womans hands, before snapping at her and jumping to his feet. The woman just calmly made her way to the man and chuckled. "All right, lets get out of here." At this time, Shortstraw Evelyn and Hana just appeared, and the woman looked around while the man still held Mordekai's wife. "Sorry kids." The two disappeared, along with Mordekai's wife. Mordekai froze still with his fur on ends.
